Does He Know

When he doesn't know how special he is,
he lets others define his greatness.

Not realizing that's part of what makes him special.
For the golden heart he carries, he deserves more than just a little.

He's always the one who rebuilds the people who have shattered. He says the right words, the ones that make them feel like they truly matter.

He lacks the confidence in which to others, he genuinely gives. The people around him try to break all the beautiful that this man is.

He's going places and one day he'll see.
It wasn't just kind words said.
Just a critic trying to show him he's
worth the bet on future guarantees.

I wouldn't be where I am today,
if he hadn't pushed me to publishing
all I needed to say.

Regardless of what I've come to feel for him,
he was already a somebody.
One day his light won't be shining dim.
