I need some sort of a distraction.
A sinful wave of reaction.
Something about you starts a fire.
Ignites my body & fuels my desire.

I try to calm my heart & listen to my head.
Yet, it's you who I think of even if all flags are red.

A picture of a man with such an intriguing look.
Your mind has become what seems,
my new favorite book.

I know only what you let me.
I see only what you deem necessary
& maybe that's the problem.
You look like a puzzle, one I'll try solving.

To decode you might free me.
Let my heart go back to its rest
& the thoughts in my head be.

What is it that draws me in?
A mountain of a man,
that mysterious kind of sin.

This all spells out to me the words,
"I'm in trouble."
But I take that step anyway,
even though I might stumble.
