A few days after the birth of Raja and Sawa, Queen Janna passed away. Rani and Kion became king and queen of the Tree Of Life. "I'm glad your my king," Rani kissed him. "I'm glad your my queen," Kion nuzzled Rani. "You guys are going to keep the Tree Of Life safe, your going to do great," Simba said. Kion nuzzled him. "Thanks dad." Rani licked Raja and Sawa. "Rani, you are perfect for my son, and I'm so sorry about Araceli and your grandmother," Nala apologized. "It's not your fault, and it's ok," Rani smiled. "Well, we are off to the Pridelands," Simba said. "Bye dad," Kion said. "Bye Simba, Nala, Kiara, and Kovu," Rani smiled. "You can call me mom," Nala said. "And you can call me dad, if you want," Simba replied. Rani ran up and hugged them. "Bye mom, bye dad," She cried happy tears. Simba and Nala hugged her back.
Simba and Nala left with Kiara and Kovu. Kion and Rani kissed, "We are gonna make a great team," Kion smiled. "We already do, ready?" Rani smirked. "You know it," Kion and Rani roared.
