You think you're funny?

You think you're funny?

The thoughts came again today

I feel the devils in my head

They won't let me go so I pray and I pray

But I'd quite rather be dead

"Let me go, let me go", I yell but not out loud

If I did, I fear

There'd come an evil crowd

Encouraging me to do what I've yearned for a year

I'd scream and I'd cry

I'd throw glass and shout "die!"

But I can't get caught

Must be as I've been taught

Fake behavior

It's holding me down

Holding me down

Until I can't breathe any longer

Where is my savior?

Where is my savior?

Take me home

Away from here

Take me home

Where pain shan't be near

"Just be yourself"

Myself?

I lost her long ago

She's been defeated by her foe

Now I'm just a shell of what once was

Lost all my innocence

Gained all of false conscience

Here it comes now, the faint little buzz

Telling me to stay, if just for another day.
