The Original Tribrid--Hope Mikaelson

Chapter 13

I wake up tangled in Hopes and my limbs I look at Hopes sleeping figure with her bare back on display and my eyes catch on to a small mark which looks like a birthmark. I run my hand over it I've never seen anything like it. Hope stirs in her sleep and opens one eye and looks at me and smiles a smile which I return to her.

"What's this?" I say tracing the birthmark "It's a birthmark" I purse my lips and look at her "Yea I know that part but I've never seen one shaped like this" she chuckles lightly and shifts in her position "it's because I'm apart of the crescent moon pack it's only found on werewolf's that are apart of the pack, my mum was alpha"

"So your alpha now?" She nods "But whatever is left of the pack has dispersed to be with their family trying to live a normal life" she frowns and I know she is envious of people who live a normal life

"Once malvitore is gone we can do the same life a normal life exploring the world....and maybe have a family I promise I'll try my best to make it happen" she smiles brighter and I feel my heart flutter "I'd love that"

"Good...the family part in like the next 100-200 years though," I say as I get up and start getting ready I hear her laugh as I walk to the bathroom

After getting ready I was immediately ambushed after walking out of my room to have Lizzie take me to Alaric's office where He explained that he is going on a road trip and I'm coming with him so he can keep an eye on me since I haven't been feeding. So now I'm currently in a minivan with Lizzie Josie Dorian Emma Hope and Alaric to find this urn that Alaric threw in a lake while slug drunk.

"Alaric this van is very white of you" Alaric looks offended at Dorian's comment "It's retro" Lizzie scoffs "It's a gas-guzzling atrocity on wheels"

"I bought snacks," hope says as she grabs some food from her bag "Oh, sweet. Did you pack them before or after you decided to FOMO your way onto our trip?" Hope scoffs and looks at Lizzie "Like I'm gonna let you guys chase monsters without me?"

"I would've thought you wanted to spend the break canoodling with your tribrid girlfriend especially since I've noticed that after morning glow on you two" I smirk and I see hope blushing in the mirror but quickly covers it

"Sorry for wanting to protect the outside world from my mistakes. You know, there's currently an urn on a river cruise spreading plagues across America because I thought a unicorn was cute. It's called accountability. Maybe there's a bracelet for it" I chuckle but I hope this argument doesn't last the whole trip

"Ohh Or maybe you just wanted to ruin yet another Saltzman spring break" guess it will last the whole trip "When have I ever ruined a spring break?" Before Lizzie could answer Alaric interjects

"Girls? We're gonna be in this classic automobile for six hours, all right? So, no bickering"

"It would help if it wasn't a thousand degrees in here. I'm burning up" Hope says as she fans herself "You're burning up. Now, that's ironic"

"What does that even mean?" Hope says as she looks at Lizzie confused this trip is already killing me and we haven't even got to the monster yet maybe I can just compel Lizzie

"Don't play dumb. I see you. I see right through you" Lizzie makes a weird gesture with her hands "I don't know what you're talking about. What happened to playing nice?"

"Over. Done. I'm getting back to me. I am who I am right Josie" Lizzie looks to Josie who has her headphones on Lizzie leans over and taps her "Josie?" Josie takes out her headphones and looks at Lizzie "Sorry?"

"Josie, you cannot leave me alone with just her for company" Lizzie attempt to whisper I roll my eyes "I'm here too but you could just be quiet" she looks at me and I give her an innocent smile and she ignores me and turns back to Josie
