"what is more painful than what almost could have been"
I will always remember those words. It stays as a reminder, a warning, to whatever I have now, I must keep it safe and never let go.
All my life was filled with 'almost'.
Almost received the care from my family,
Almost aced the exam,
Almost won the school's marathon,
Almost got the love from her.
It's such a shame,
For what could've been,
For what should've been,
For what almost, had always been that final climb that I am too weak to climb over.
