My alarm went off by 5.30 am as i scratched my head cursing whoever pulled this prank on me to have a really bad stomach this morning but i knew very well tgat it couldn't be anyone rather than my dear mom for she has to make sure that i dont wake up late like a zombie and roam around scaring everyobe in the house.....atleast not on my wedding day though.
Tired from yesterday's events, i pulled the blanket over my face and tried to a get a more five minutes nap when my door was knocked hard followed by a chorus of knocks causing me to kick the blanket off and muttering some colourful words for the guest at door, haha sarcasm.....its mumma though.....i tried getting out of bed....key word tried cause i just trjpped on the crumbled blanket and fell on my bum on the floor.....wow what a great way to get up in the morning on your oh-so-dreamy D day. Slightly caressing the hit area, i was forced to open the door as now even mumma's shouts were audible from the other side.
I opned the door clinging to it like a koala and give mumma a lazy smile as a compliment of which.....i got a smack on my head. An "ouch" left my lips as i rubbed my forehead.......and before she could get started with her expreesa train lectures and advises.....i joined my hands infront of her and said pleading to her for some mercy on this poor soul "Mumma....now dont start....i am right away going to get ready for the haldi........so please." and then quickly shut the door even before she could register my words in her mind.
Then i did everyrhing in a jiffy and then came my both friends enjoying their morning coffee......yeah we three like to have a hot coffee in the morning rather than the typical tea. Then they helped me in getting into my haldi outfit and adorned me with the floral jewellery as well. Then they began working on hairs and styled it neatly in a high ponytail.......just the way i like....simple yet calssy.
