Colt's POV

I wake up with a clear mind this morning.

I know we've just gotten into the relationship but better now than later.

But I know that I can't just go up to her and tell her that I want to break up, because that would be a lie.

So, I only have one option left.

Making her breakup.

I definitely don't want to ruin and waste her time by being an asshole and that's why I am going to make it quick.

I get in my car and straight to the company.

Why did I even start this if I knew I would face these worries?

I would usually go and pick her up, even though she doesn't want it, but I can't do what I am thinking of doing when I see her beautiful smile.

I sit down in my office and focus straight on work.

And then I hear her in the hallway greeting my assistant.

Elia's POV that morning.

Dressing up is no longer fun.

It's kind of stressful.

What am I going to wear?

Heels?

Yes, I want heels today after sneakers for a long time.

And a midi sundress in a light cream/ yellow with cute flowers on it.

My high heels in the same light cream/ yellow color.

I head outside and see that Colt isn't there.

Perfect, because I want to surprise him with a morning coffee.

I know it's not a lot, but maybe it will make his start to the day perfect.

I pick up coffee for both of us and head to the company.

I greet everyone I walk past, including Colt's assistant who is on the floor where our offices are, so Colt must be here already.

I knock on the glass door and get in when I notice that Colt was focused on his work and doesn't look up.

"Good morning, Colt." I greet him walking towards his desk.

I place the cup next to his notes.

"Is everything okay, or did something happen?" I ask as he still has not looked up to me.

"I need to work." he tells me in his monotone voice.

"Oh, okay, then coffee is right what you need. I'll be in my office." I get quiter and walk out.

Colt's POV

She looks beautiful in her dress.

And she's, once again, too kind to me.

I didn't even greet her but she still stayed sweet and calm.

I look over to her a few times and she's looking at fabric combinations on her idea wall.

She's working on her computer and has a few phone calls.
