ANNE wasn't one for expressing her feelings all that much, the only way she showed them was through music, really.

As she set down her phone, she stared blankly at her songbook that was flipped to an empty page, she honestly didn't know what to write down, and texting Marcy had distracted her quite a bit.

She didn't know what exactly prompted her to randomly talk about a guy, and gush over him to Marcy, maybe its because she expected her to get jealous.

Maybe its because she wanted her to be jealous.

And that scared her.

Because why would she want Marcy to be jealous? She's a girl, Anne's never liked a girl before, so why was Marcy suddenly bringing out this nervousness from her that no guy has?

Marcy didn't seem too happy about the mention of the fictional guy, but maybe its because she was awkward, uncomfortable or didn't know how to keep the conversation going, it didn't exactly mean they were jealous, no matter how much Anne wished it did.

Anne let out a small breath through her nose, she was anxious at this newfound information, she was scared of the idea of liking Marcy, she didn't want to, whenever she found herself flirting with the girl and actually meaning it she'd always take a step back and clarify it was a joke or change the subject.

She wasn't good at this feelings thing, and Marcy, Marcy seemed to be unaffected by the flirting, only seeing it as lighthearted fun, Anne kinda wished Marcy would show some sign, something, anything at all, to show that she was also affected by this.

But it seemed that she wasn't, and it kinda sucked.

Anne tried not to let it get to her though, and instead, focused on something more positive...

and it involved texting Marcy.
