The Return of Mythians

Chapter 1

PATRICIA'S POV

Everyone celebrated for the news we received. Apparently, I'm one of those people who sense Hera's presence. I have a strong connection with Hera, I was in the middle of my training combat when I felt something familiar yet foreign feeling in my chest.

My whole body shivers. I feel like someone was watching me secretly. I felt a strong energy coming from an unknown place.

At sa mga oras na iyon ko rin napagtanto ang pagiging Mythians nila Zaryl at iba pa. I'm glad that he can still have time to have fun with his friends, because I know it was hard to find a vacant time for his job. It wasn't easy, especially when it became one of our issues in our relationship.

I sighed loudly when I remembered our last argument. I still have to understand him like always, because he's a Doctor. Even though it hurts me sometimes.

I chose to focus on my work too. Tuwing weekend lang ako nagkakaroon ng time para makapunta sa bahay ni Lolo Franz para mag training. Kahit minsan pagod at inaantok pa ako, pinipilit ko pa rin makapunta dito.

It is because I've witnessed my sister's determination to become a Mythian. I saw her hard work, sufferings and efforts. She deserved everything she had right now. And I'm so proud of her.

"Hindi ka pupunta sa baba? Nag-iinuman sila doon." Napalingon ako sa pinto, nakita ko si ate na sumisilip doon. I forced a smile.

"Siguro mamaya na lang, ate. Enjoy this day, it's special for you." Sabi ko sa kanya.

Kasalukuyang nasa ibaba ang mga kaibigan ni ate, nag-iinuman. Well, mostly mga boys ang nasa ibaba, nag-iinuman. Ate Leigh just recently went downstairs to get a drink, pero hindi na bumalik. Siguro inayaya na agad siya ng mga lalaki doon na uminom kaya hindi na nakaakyat dito.

I know what relationship they have with ate Artemis. Since nung nasa ibang bansa pa si ate, even though they're really private with their relationship, they're not secretive with their motives and actions.

Sina Hermes at iba pang niyang kasama ay nasa basement, nanonood ng movie. Ate Avianna said that the basement used to be their hideout and training area, they have many memories there. Ngayon, basement na ito ng batch namin.

It's actually weird to think that I belong to the second batch, aside that they're all younger than me, they think that I'm supposed to be their leader just because I have a relationship with Zeus. Being their Ate is not easy, these children are full of crazy ideas.

Nakailang episode na kami ng Umbrella Academy at hindi pa rin kami dinadalaw ng antok. Nakahiga ako sa kandungan ni Ate Eisha, meanwhile Ate Artemis is laying down on her stomach, feeling comfortable on the large bed and Ate Avianna was seriously watching while sitting on the corner of the bed.

"This sucks, I can't sleep. What's taking her so long!" Ate Artemis frowned.

"Sunduin mo na kasi, hindi na talaga yan aakyat dito. Lasing na 'yon panigurado." Sabi ni ate habang kumakain ng chichirya.

"Si Kuya Keidon pasimuno sigurado." Natatawang sabi ko. Sinamaan kami ng tingin ni ate Artemis.

Tumawa naman nang mahina si ate Avianna.

"Kunsintidor 'yang si Zaryl, Pat. Lalo na mukhang badtrip dahil hindi mo pa pinapansin simula nung dumating kami." Ate Avianna smirked at me.

Ate Eisha gave me a teasing look. I just rolled my eyes. Hindi na ako nagsalita pa. Nauna na bumaba si ate Artemis, hindi ata mapakali na wala si ate Leigh sa tabi niya. That makes us different, I just let Zaryl do whatever he wants. Kaya siguro minsan ay feeling ko na nakukulangan na ako ng quality time mula sa kanya.
