THIRD PERSON POV
(Mithila)
{After 9 Years....}
"Aye- tell na- why did you drag me here?" Shriya whined for probably the hundredth time at which Anandi facepalmed and continued dragging her to the market. They both had disguised themselves into commoners as Anandi had insisted, almost barging into Shriya's room this morning, where the former almost gave a heart attack to the latter.
The market was bustling with the throngs, buying necessities for their families. The vendors were trying to get as many customers as possible to meet their daily expenses. Anandi and Shriya walked past the crowd, to the banks of Gandaki.
Shriya looked at Anandi with a raised eyebrow while the latter shrugged and moved near the river, sitting down on her knees. The former facepalmed herself and sat beside her sister, being used to her antics for years. Anandi closed her eyes, enjoying the cool breeze. Shriya chuckled and started gazing at the surroundings.
Her gaze settled on the flora behind them. Her eyes glinted in happiness as she got up from her and walked towards a white carnation, her anklets chiming as she moved. Nature surely made her feel happy. Caressing the flower, she plucked it off the plant lightly, placing it in her braid. Twirling around like a kid, she giggled in joy.
