Anonymous Letter [EDITED]

I clutched the book tightly in my hand and paced home as quickly as possible.

The first thing I did when I reached home was rummaged my drawer for a special 'something'.

And I found it.

I took the paper out and smiled.

It read:

"5 things I like:
1. You
2. Red Velvet Cupcake
3. Horror Movies
4. Cuddling
5. And maybe shopping..?

-Rosalyn"

I looked at the note over and over again and flipped the book to the wanted page, "How to back a red velvet cupcake".

I went grocery shopping, put on my manly apron, and started baking.

I was going to bake some red velvet cupcake since she liked it.
~
Each batch failed repeatedly. They were either burnt or they texture was too hard.

I was getting frustrated. Am I ever going to finish this?
~
I prayed silently this would work as I slid the tray of cupcakes into the oven.

I looked at it as it slowly rises, and 'ding' goes the oven.

I took it out of the oven, iced it and took a bite. It has to be perfect!

And it was.
