you stood in the work bathroom literally shaking and waiting for the stupid results to pop up

yes you took a pregnancy test. the chances were pretty high and it's better safe than sorry right?

you heard the test beep and literally went white flipping it over

not pregnant

you teared up covering your mouth to stop your gasp

thank god. i really cant deal with a child at the minute

you stared at the test before falling back against the wall staring at it

this still doesn't give me an answer to my sickness this morning tho?

you gave yourself a minute before shoving the test into your bag and going into your office seeing your first patient in there waiting for you

i'll take another one if im sick tommorow.

you were now on your way home and majorly craving some chinese food so you drove downtown and sat in having some chinese food at your favourite place

i want a child but not now. it's too early for me and for ashton. it been a month, barely

im so glad this test is negative but if ashton sees? he will not be happy with me..

you began crying during eating your food and a waiter came over

waiter-is everything alright ma'am?

you said wiping your face and rising from your seat hoping to just leave and begged he'd forget all about it

he nodded walking off with your plate and you leant against the table glancing down to your bag and pulling the test out

the guy came back over with your bag of food becoming shocked

he smiled

you-oh no its negative
you replied placing it in your bag taking the container of food from him

waiter-a child is always a blessing im sorry its negative, were you trying for a child?
he smiled in question

you shook your head no and he nodded in response

waiter-well im nico, call my name next time you come in and the foods on me

you smiled giving him a nod back
you-thank you

you left the place and grabbed another test on the way home practically shoving yourself through the door and to your bedroom hiding the fresh test for tommorow incase you were sick again and your negative one..

ashton-hey baby im cooking you okay??
ashton asked and you shoved your tests back into your work back

you-um yeah everything's fine
you chuckled hoping he'd believe you

ashton-oh you already got food, chinese
he said picking up your food bag that you left on the bed

you-yeah i was craving it sorry baby, i'll eat ur food too dont worry
you said softly now sliding your hand onto his face and he smiled

he said quietly and gently kissing your lips

ashton-im making potatoes with pasta and rice
he said with a smile running his hands up your waist and you smiled

you-well im gonna take a shower, call me when its done baby
you smiled taking your joggers and bra into the bathroom ready for your shower

you had a nice hot shower and were now ready for the night. you walked out and saw ashton sitting at the table with your work bag infront of him and the negative test in his hands

ashton-why did you take this?
he asked turning to face you

you-i was sick this morning and then you said baby names and i kind of just freaked out so i did one at work and thats the outcome. i dont know how to feel about it either

he lightly smiled opening his arms and you walked into them giving him a hug

ashton-no its okay i just really want this but more importantly i want this for you. whenever your ready
he whispered holding you against his chest

you flashed a smile and he gently kissed your stomach

after dinner you sat on his lap talking about your days and he trailed his fingertips along your skin

you-after spending 2 days with me i see why
you replied running your hands into his hair
