EPISODE FIVE

Jane landed next to Stormfront against the aliens along with Starlight. She put her hands on her hips as Maeve joined them. They'd fight together.

"There's no way we can restore the grid if we don't get that flash drive to the Tower. But how are you gonna get through all of them?" Agent Pearson said.

"Don't worry," Ivy smiled as Starlight finished for her. "Girls get it done."

"And cut on rehearsal! No one move," Director Bourke called out as he approached them.

"Ivy. I'm not touching," he held his hands up. "But can you just take a step?"

Ivy took barely half a step closer to Stormfront in the chaos of the set.

"Yeah, so keep going closer."

She took another half a step.

"Can you mark her closer to Stormfront? Let's mark her, please," he called out before talking to her. "And let's just pretend...like you like her, okay?"

             "Sure," she smiled sarcastically.

           "Let's try one for that. All right, good," the director walked away to get the cameras ready.

             "You know," Stormfront smiled. "I heard about your little accident the other day. It's so sad that poor doctor died. Looks like you're not a goody little two shoes anymore."

               She clenched her jaw and props erupted into red flame around them before turning to ash. It caused Stormfront to chuckle, "That is so cute."

               She could feel her body start to heat up as Maeve defended her, "Hey, leave her alone."

               Annie held worried eyes as she looked at Jane who had closed hers and clenched her hands into fists. She could feel a heat wave coming from Jane as she asked carefully, "Jane, you okay?"

                 Ivy opened her eyes (and they were blazing red) to see Stormfront smirking, knowing she made Jane lose control, and Ivy stormed off the set. She shouted as she went, "I'm not doing a single scene with her."

               The crew looked on in shock along with Ashley as the director questioned, "What just happened?"

             Jane got what she wanted. Ashley was too afraid to tell her no because if Homelander found out it wouldn't end well for her.

                She was now sitting in a chair next to Homelander with her head resting on his shoulder. He had his arm over the back of her chair while his fingers drew circles on her shoulder.

          Maeve was filming a scene and they watched the playback. It was a dumb scene where Maeve had to reveal that she was gay. (Jane knew that Maeve was bi, though, from the hazy memory of a drunken makeout session; although she would never ever tell John about it because it may have been when Homelander and Maeve were dating and, therefore, considered cheating).
