Siri woke up in a blank room. The walls were covered with mirrors as Siri wondered where they were.
That was when a familiar figure came out.
"Baby! Come to daddy!"
A man with black hair said.
Siri instantly went into a panic.

𝙽𝚘 𝚗𝚘 𝚗𝚘 𝚗𝚘 𝚗𝚘 𝚗𝚘!

Siri thought as they took to their heels and tried to run away, only for the man to grab them by their hair and pull them towards him, forcing them to hug him.
Siri started to scream as they tried to get out, thrashing about as the man hugged them tightly, making it hard to breathe as Siri gasped for air, wheezing as they did.
"Aw! You're so cute!"
The man continue, ignoring all the signs of Siri's discomfort as they tried to get out his grasp, their face turned blue from lack of air.

"L-Let...Go..! I can't...B-Breathe!"

Siri cried as the man ignored them.
"Don't joke like that! You're so funny Choco!"
The man continued to laugh as Siri continued to choke, crying now in fear.

"F-Father! Please..! I really...Can't...Breathe..."
Siri said before they passed out.

"NO!"
Siri screamed as they shot up like a bolt, panting for air as beads of cold sweat dotted their forehead as they felt their waist and neck, heaving sighs of relief as they started to cry.

𝚆𝚑𝚢 𝚠𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚛𝚎𝚖𝚎𝚖𝚋𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜..?

Siri wondered as they got out of bed, looking at the device for the time. It was now 5:59am.
They could head back to sleep for an extra minute...
No no! They might oversleep...

So Siri got out of bed early.
They headed to the bathroom and ran the bath, filling the tub with warm water before shedding off their pyjamas and sliding in.
"Mhm..."
Siri hummed as they felt comforted by the warm water, wanting to do this everyday. Their hair curled around their cheeks as they sighed with pleasure.
This was the closest they could get to warmth. They had brought their device inside the bath and checked it out. The got a message!
They started texting back.
It was Mocha.
Their beloved.
Mocha started asking them how they were doing, and if they had eaten yet. Siri replied with that they were doing okay, but said 'no' for the second question.
"You shouldn't skip meals. It's not good for you,"
Mocha chided to the younger one.
"I know I know..."
"And I'm more aware you hadn't had a proper meal for about three days already other than apples,"
Mocha continued through text.
"Okay okay...I'll eat a little more okay?"
Siri promised.
"Fine,"
Mocha finally relented and stopped his nagging, Siri sighing at the other end of the phone.
"Hey. Make sure you stay safe. I don't want you coming back to me in bits. This is embarrassing, but I love you,"
Mocha added quickly before trailing offline, causing Siri to smile lightly. They finally got out the bathtub and changed into their usual black dress.
They decided to go look for Clotted Cream.
They headed downstairs and grabbed an apple, slicing it up and topping it with cinnamon, popping a cinnamon coated apple slice into their mouth.
It was slightly spicy, which was evened out by the sweetness and sourness of the apple.
Siri finished this quick meal before heading to the front door.
Sliding into their boots and unlocking the door hastily, also managing to bring their mask out with them before actually leaving.

Should they do something abo it the fact Clotted Cream didn't show up the previous day?
Maybe he was giving people a tour, making him unable to show up. Even so, he should have told them, shouldn't he?
But what if he had extra paperwork he needed to do? Maybe that was why he didn't come yesterday. Or was it darker...Mulled Juice seemed worried about Clotted Cream the previous day...Did something bad happen to Clotted Cream? What if Clotted Cream was in danger? What if he needed help? What if they were being a bad person wondering this? Were they being overly protective again? We're they doing something wrong?

What if...What if...

Siri's mind couldn't handle it, they dashed back home. They needed rest. They wanted rest.
So they decided to get rest. They kicked open the door, soon locked it then threw himself onto the sofa to rest, groaning as they did.
They didn't like overthinking. It was excruciatingly painful to feel their brain bombard with thoughts to the point they feel like they'd burst. How it was so stressful, knowing that it could be simple but their fears and anxiety would make them complicate it...
They wanted this all to end...
Why couldn't they just be normal?

꧁𝚃𝚒𝚖𝚎𝚜𝚔𝚒𝚙꧂
It was about 10pm. Siri was loitering around the back of Mansion Custard, not the happiest as they circled around the wall. That was when they heard a series of whimpers. It sounded...Like Clotted Cream!
They rushed to the turning point of the wall to be met by a heavily injuries Clotted Cream. His eyes were twitching like crazy as he screamed in fear, his hands thrown in front of his face as he started to cry and beg for forgiveness.
"Clotted Cream...No...What happened-?"
Siri uttered in horror as they rushed to him, grabbing his face and examining his wounds.
"M-M..My...My father..."
Clotted Cream made out in between his sobs. Siri looked at him in shock and horror, their image flickering to the man that hit him the other day while they were pretending to be Clotted Cream.
"I'll switch places with you now,"
Siri started, as they yanked off their necktie and threw it to Clotted Cream.
Siri didn't expect this, so they didn't bring Clotted Cream's suit with them to change. But they didn't care about literally swapping outfits with him right now. Clotted Cream was tearing off his suit as he passed parts of it to Siri, Siri physically hurting himself in an attempt to make them so look more like Clotted Cream, resting their hand on him and copying all the wounds he currently had.
When they were done, Siri was now 'Clotted Cream', while Clotted Cream had been forced into a skirt and some black boots. Siri's head accessories were sprawled on the floor.
"Here-! Take this!"
Siri yelped, passing Clotted Cream a wig which vaguely resembled their hair as Clotted Cream plopped it into his head, before Siri started fixing their accessories on him. Siri had grown to Clotted Cream height as they tugged off their mask, handing it to Clotted Cream as he slid it into the pocket of the dress, getting Clotted Cream to his feet hastily.
That was when Siri heard footsteps.
It was Custard! Siri was barely done with the head accessories, but they finished it up and shoved him away, pushing Clotted Cream down the hill as Clotted stumbled forward, yelling as he did.
Clotted Cream peered from the hill watching anxiously as Custard approached Siri.
He winced after seeing Custard punch the child in disguise of him. Should Custard know he swapped places with someone, he'd be deader than a dodo bird.

Clotted Cream cracked out a whimper as he made his way to Siri's home, limping as he did. His leg ached from falling down the hill earlier, but it was better than being hit again. He felt lucky that Siri didn't see his hands. He was scared about what they would say. His finger bled as his pinky was missing it's nail. As he reached Siri's home, he shakily tried to unlock the door, his hand shaking like mad as he inserted the key. He weakly turned it and stumbled into the home, yanking the key out as he fell down.
"Gah-!"
Clotted Cream yelped out as he managed to shut the door. He unsteadily got up, his legs feeling like jelly as he locked the door.

He was scared...
