where the boys have a wild night together after performing.

EVERYONE COULD SENSE THAT DEANTE HAD BEEN OFF THE ENTIRE NIGHT. the fans, the promoters, hell, even the other performers could tell that something was up with him.
deante wasn't the best performer on a good day; he regularly showed up to shows high, showed up late, and lacked energy and stage presence, but the one thing he had going for him, usually, was confidence.
tonight, it didn't even seem like he had that. he was spacey, clingy, and out of it, practically clinging onto keandrian whenever he could and hiding away from the crowd, pulling the hood of his black bubble jacket over his face.
keandrian was, of course, the first person who noticed that something was off with deante. he knew the boy all too well, and it didn't take a lot to notice that things were awry with his friend and lover.
he knew that deante could be clingy sometimes, hell, the two of them have had something of a situationship for about three years at this point, and even though neither of the two wanted to pursue an actual romantic relationship, deante could be pretty needy when it came to keandrian.
however, it was never this bad. deante refused to let go of keandrian's arm for about the first half of the concert, holding onto him tightly and hiding his face away from the crowd that had so desperately wanted to see their favorite rapper give his all in the performance.
the second person to notice that something was wrong was jace. which was surprising, since jace didn't really seem to care about anyone other than himself, and if he did, he certainly wouldn't show it.
so reasonably, deante was shocked to hear the words "you okay?" leave jace's lips, a hint of concern flashing in his usually angry eyes. deante just nodded, and responded with a "yeah, for sure."
sometime during the show, deante finally decided to stop holding onto keandrian like he was his lifeline, and attempt to shake the anxious feeling in the center of his chest.
he noticed that keandrian and jace were talking to each other, and he noticed that they were talking about him, the quick glances and hand gestures towards him made it more than obvious that he was the topic of conversation.
speaking of things that were obvious, the fact that jace and keandrian had a thing going on was up there. deante was far from smart, but anyone with a working pair of eyes could tell that they were kind of an item, and have been for a while. although jace swore up and down that he was not gay, and spewed homophobia wherever he could, everyone who had seen him and keandrian interact for at least five minutes could tell they were hooking up.
