Hey guys,

We've come to the end of HER, thank you for reading and coming along on this journey with me.

I hope you all had a good read.

The idea for HER came to me when I sat down at a table with my friends for lunch one sunny college day. They all turned to me, one after the other, when they noticed I had gone quiet as my smile grew unconsciously wider by the second.

I remember thinking just how blessed I was to be surrounded by incredible young ladies and women everyday of my life and not knowing it. My friends are amazing and I am in awe of everything they have all gone through even if their struggles weren't as hard or difficult as these women in HER.

But one thing I know is, everyone's struggle is different and you can't compare one person's struggle to another because we all have different tolerance rate. So, although my friends' struggles are different from the women in HER, they are the women behind these characters and represent the other women I pass by every single day, women I don't know, women whose stories would touch your soul when you hear them, women who smile as they pass you by but are going through something hard internally, women we've grown from, women we want to help, women we look up to, women we want to be and women that we are.

I obviously cannot know every woman's story but I do know every one, every woman has an incredible story, no matter how stress free or stressful it was. The writer in me wants to sit and hear all the different inspiring life stories out there, but no matter how much time I have in the world, I don't think there would ever be enough time to get to know all the incredible, amazing women of the world.

To all the women out there; Stay true and Stay Strong.

Strong doesn't mean keeping it together or working 24/7, 7/4, 4/12. Staying strong means knowing when to hold on and when to let go. When to stay and fight, when to run and hide, when to keep your head high, when to lower your head humbly.

Just be you. Because you are strong.

My next book, Broken, will be out on 1st July, 2022. I'm looking forward to seeing you all there. So, make sure you go add it to your library right now, I've got a trailer up and I've got a very important disclaimer coming soon.

Thank you all so very much.

Love,
Jane Lanett. ❤️
