As promised, Nate was there at the end of the play. Veronica could already feel the bruises forming on her body. Lexi must have seen him because she squeezed her hand and told her, "You don't have to..." but before she finished, Veronica was already running offstage and into the girls bathroom.

On her way, she ran into someone that could determine her future.
