Lexi: Okay, this might kinda be a weird and embarrassing thing to admit, but I think that the most defining moment of our adolescence...

Veronica: our?

Lexi: Sorry, the most defining moment of my adolescence was when my sister went through puberty.

Hallie came down with angel wings on her back like a literal... well, angel.

Hallie: Ugh, I look disgusting!

Veronica: Here we fucking go.

Lexi: Hey, Hallie. I'm in the middle of something.

Hallie: It's just this dress is so not flattering.

Veronica: You're kinda killing the vibe, Hallie.

Lexi: Hallie, I'm kinda putting on a play right now.

Hallie: What?

Lexi: Like there's an entire audience waiting for me.

Veronica clears her throat.

Lexi: Sorry, waiting for us to continue talking.

Hallie: Where?

Lexi: Right here.

Hallie: Oh, Hi, wow.

Veronica: There she goes, being an attention whore. Again.

Lexi: Whatever. The point is, I couldn't wait to go through puberty.

Lights go up and their mom bursts in, approaching Hallie.

Ethan [as Suze]: Wow, wow, wow! Look at you!

Hallie: I feel like a big baby.

Ethan [as Suze]: Hallie, I've been on this planet for 38 goddamn years and I've never seen a baby with knockers like yours.

Hallie: Mom, that was the grossest thing I've ever heard you say.

Lexi: Look, I know being informed, smart, and curious are all very important qualities, but imagine having all of those qualities while also being hot. So if Hallie was 433 days older than me, then all i would have to do is wait...

Veronica: 433 days.

Lexi: And I'd look just like her.

433 days later...

Lexi, backstage: this is your dream.

She bursts onstage.

Lexi: I could see myself now. I'd be the girl no one ever could get. Hi. Hey Ted, how are you? And I'd imagine my former classmates sitting around at barbecues in their dirty, dirty backyards twenty years from now. All I had to do was wait.
