What shit is he talking about? And what girls?

Me:
in which bar are you Ares?

Ares:
you're the only one I want I swear.

I rolled my eyes.

Me:
the name?

Ares, stop that now and tell me which bar you're at.

Ares:
scouts

Me:
okay, stay there I'm coming.

As if I were the mother of a small child. "Do you know where the bar scouts are?" I asked Zeth quietly, not wanting my mother to overhear.

"Yes, We performed there." "Can you drive me there? Ares is drunk and probably needs someone to take him home." he immediately nods.

"Mom I'm taking Zeth home." She nods at me. "Thank you so much ma'am for the food it was really delicious." "Oh stop it Zeth you don't have to call me ma'am."

Even I was amazed because I haven't heard ma'am from anyone for a long time. Theo accompanies us to the door. "Thank you very much for letting me come with you, sir. I'll make sure Aurora gets home safely."

"I'm counting on you boy." Theo pointed to Zeth with his finger. "Don't be ridiculous. See you later Theo." I took Zeth by the hand and pulled him behind me because otherwise, we won't get away from here.

We got in his car and drove straight to this bar where Ares is.

---

"You look at the bar, I'll go there. If you find him call me and we'll meet at the entrance." Zeth nodded at me and we split up to find a drunk boy who doesn't even know his limits.

That I come here at all. Doesn't he go with some friends who will help him afterward? I mean if you go to a party you need to know how to get home?

I looked around the bar. It was full and you could hardly see anything. I kept walking through the people when I saw Ares talking to a girl. Yes, because you're the only one. I see.

I marched over to the two as I tipped him on the shoulder. His eyes widen and a smile ensues. "That's her, that's Aurora the most beautiful girl I have ever seen." He put his arm around me.

I looked at him confused than at the girl. "He was talking about you the whole time. Don't worry we didn't..." She talked herself out of it. Does she think we're together? "We are going," I command him.

"So then Kenna. Nice to meet you." He gave her a fist bump and then walk outside with me while I texted Zeth that I was waiting on our spot.

"You smell so good." I rolled my eyes as Ares isn't giving any support to get out of here. What does he expect the I carry him?

"Ares stop it and walk I can't carry you. You're a muscular athlete who weighs more than 50kg." I couldn't even carry 10kg.

"Sorry." Now he didn't start leaning against me but kept walking. When I got outside, I saw Zeth standing there. He immediately helped me by making Ares's arm over his shoulder.

I opened the car and was quickly in the car with the help of Zeth Ares. We sat in like before and then drove to Ares.

"What were you thinking?" asked Zeth. "I was just partying. You know alcohol is a good solution to everything." came softly from Ares. Already mumbled under the nose.

"What happened?" Zeth asked again. "Nothing." we left the subject at that although I have a hunch that Zeth thinks Ares didn't get so drunk without a reason. There must be a reason.

"Okay, we'll be right there," I said and we threw Ares onto his bed. Zeth took off his shoes while I went into the kitchen to get Ares a glass of water.

I turned on the faucet and poured water into the glass. "I put him to bed, I'll wait for you downstairs," Zeth informed me. I thanked him and went into Ares's room with the glass.

"Here's a glass of water." he took it in his hand and drank it down in one breath. I took the glass back, slightly shocked. "Do you want something before I go?" he nodded while resting his upper arm on his forehead. He shifted it up slightly and looked at me. "You." I rolled my eyes.

"If nothing then I'll go. Drink a lot tomorrow or you'll get a headache. A pill was already on the dessert next to your bed." I was about to leave when Ares's words stopped me. "Can you please stay? Just until I fall asleep."

I can't. I have a boyfriend, but the problem is that Ares attracts me so much that I can't help it but take my shoes off and get on the bed.

Ares wrapped his arms around my waist, resting his head on my lap. "You look beautiful today." "Of course the old sweatpants and a rancid gray sweater that's probably older than we are together. So yeah, beautiful."

"You're always beautiful for me, you could wear a trash bag, but you'd still be the most beautiful girl in the world." "The world wow, those are some words." they really are.

Nobody ever told me I was like that. Sure I don't need everyone's compliments to understand that I'm not ugly but when Ares says, it feels good.

"My dad called." I pushed the thought away with the compliment and looked down at Ares who had apparently closed his eyes.

"That's why I was drinking. I'm done with my past and he has to destroy everything." I ran my hand through his hair. "Are you scared?"

"About what?" "That you'll change your mind, that if you really let him into your life he'll leave again." his grip on my waist tightens. "I don't want to go through that again." His face turned to look at my stomach.

His voice seems shaky when I hear a sigh. "Hey." I let him look at me. At first, he didn't want to but the second time I tried he really looked at me. His brown eyes sparkled through the tears in his eyes. His eyelashes are together but so beautiful that one can't look away. I kiss him on the cheek.

"You'll make the right choice. But you must know your worth Ares. And for me, your worth is too good to forgive him again. You deserve better, you deserve the world."
