"If you want us to navigate, you got us. But we need a head start" Said Dustin after explaining Hopper why he needed him "... And a car"
Hopper stared at him for a moment thinking about it, then he looked at all of them and went back to Dustin, sighing so slowly... Really slowly.
"I mean, take your time man, it's not like a monster is after El—"
"Okay!" Hopper interrupted Y/n "Don't play smart-ass kiddo. I'm a cop, got it?" He pointed his finger at him
"Yes sir" Y/n sarcastically responded
Jim reached his pocket and took out a set of keys tossing it to Dustin "While Dustin does his job, I want all of you to go to a safe place. Murray and I will take care of the rest"
"But where?" Asked Mike
"Uhm... You can stay at Murray's"
"What?" Said the bald man from afar
"We're running out of time" Chanted Y/n
"The insolent is right, it's time to go" Responded Jim before turning around walking to Murray
"Did he call me 'insolent'?"
"Steve! You drive" Dustin threw the keys at him, catching them in the air
"Alright, let's go" Y/n said but Steve pulled him from the collar of his t-shirt
"Wow wow wow, where do you think you are going?"
"With you of course" Replied Y/n in a obvious tone
"Nice try, you stay here" Steve said patting his shoulder
"C'mon man, I wanna go with you" He tried to pass by him but Steve stopped him again
"No, I need you to stay safe, did you hear me?" Steve replied severe "I'll be fine"
"Says who? You or your purple eye?" Y/n crossed his arms
"This" Steve pointed at his face "Is one of the reasons you're not coming. The next one could be you, and could be worst than an purple eye. You'll be safe with them"
"Remember that shitty spider is after El?... And I'm staying with her?"
"Do you always have to be a knows-it-all?" He said funny
