"You go first," I say to Erica, chuckling as she takes her bow and arrow, positions herself, and then throws the arrow.

My heart skips a beat. I pressed my bottom lips together and closed my eyes. I turned to face where she threw the arrow after hearing her groan.

She did not strike it. Thank God, it didn't even come close to hitting the red dot. "It's my turn," I smirk. She was sitting on the lawn. I take a deep breath and close my eyes as I position myself.

My thoughts then turned to my father, who used to teach me how to throw arrows with a bow. I was ten years old at the time. As I throw it, I sigh.

I heard Erica gasp, and as I slowly opened my eyes, I saw that I had hit it, and a smile grew on my face. "Look who wins," I smirked.

I placed the bow beside Ms. Carter's chair. "Not going to lie, you were great," Erica says as we walk. "Thank you, my father taught me," I say with a tiny smile.

"Let's find your crush," I said, resting my arm on her shoulder. "Off topic, but did you see when Bella looked?" She knows why she changed the subject.

"Mason and Bella had a fantastic night," I smirk. "Take a deep breath, go to his cabin and chat, then you confess," I say as I nudge her shoulder.

"It's not as easy as you think to trust me," she rolled her eyes. "Believe me, I've seen a lot of romantic movies."

Every Saturday night, I read romantic books to escape reality. Love is not real in real life; you may have feelings for someone, but you will eventually stop having feelings for that person.

As she goes away, she sighs. My phone started buzzing. When I unlocked it, my smile broadened along with the text.

Enzo
How was your day?

It was fantastic; how about you?

Go to the back of your cabin.

Why?

Do it, Elle.

Why am I like this? I blush at the nickname. He's clearly not interested in me. It is not uncommon for people to give their pals nicknames. I make my way to the back of the cabin.

Observing Enzo "Hey," I say, looking down after that kiss he gave me; seeing him in person was awkward. "After we get back home, do you want to go to the Arcade?" He casts a downward glance towards the ground.

My grin broadened. "Sure," I say with a chuckle,  " I'm sorry I hurt you; it wasn't my intention," he continues.

"It's fine, we're just friends." I sigh, we're friends, but I've realized I have feelings for him, and I don't want to be wounded again.

He nods, leaving an awkward pause between us.

"How is your sister?" I broke the silence because I hadn't spoken to her in four days because I was too busy. "She's great."

I feel sorry for him. "I should probably go," I said as I cleared my throat. He walks away, nodding.

Why was this so awkward between us? I feel bad for Enzo because his father forces him to do things he doesn't want to do, which is sad.

I turned around to walk to my cabin when I noticed Erica approaching me with a disappointed expression on her face. I asked her, "What's wrong?" I inquired as I approached her.

"I guess we're the same," she moans, shedding another tear. "What do you mean, did Chris reject you?" I asked, perplexed.

"No, I didn't have the chance, I saw him making out with a girl in his lap," she sniffed, as I drew her into a hug. "Oh Erica, I shouldn't dare you to go to him," she hugged back.

"It's not your fault, but at least we're twins, and we both discovered the person we like is with another lady," she chuckles as we draw away from the hug.

"Yeah," I sigh, remembering Lorenzo and my awkwardness together. "What's wrong, Elora?" she asked, wiping her tears. "Nothing, I'm OK, today is a good day, right?" I fake smiled, revealing my teeth.

It's simple for me to act as though everything is fine. "Well, not for me, how about some ice cream?" She inquired as she wrapped her arm around my shoulder. "Sure," I said with a smile.

We go back to the cabin while eating ice cream and having a long talk.

I'm wondering how Enzo is doing.
