Part 93

Everyone was on the dining table in the Malhotra Mansion.

"I missed this taste Nandini" said Raj as Nandini smiled at him thanking him

"I agree , how was the trip guys?" asked Cabir.

"Very good" said Manik glaring at him. He clearly knew what details Cabir wanted but he was too smart to put them out.

"Where is Radhika?" asked Nandini looking around the house

"Vo she has gone on a school trip with her friends" said Nyonika as Manik and Nandini lookd at her surprised

"School trip?She is just 4 mamma. How will she take care of herself all alone there?" asked Nandini. Listening to Nandini, Navya dropped her spoon on the plate and the others sighed

"What is the problem Nandini? Teachers hai vaha aur vo akeli nahi hai uske friends bhi hai. Ghar me sabko Radhika ke enjoy karne se kya problem hai?" said Navya in a high tone

"Navya that's not what she meant okay and please talk slowly" said Manik defending Nandini

"Mujhe pata hai kiska kya matlab tha. Jis din se Radhika ne trip ke baare me bataya hai sab yahi keh rahe hai, mom, dad, Cabir sab. Why can my daughter not enjoy?Just beacsue she is not a Malhotra by blood?" said Navya as people around her gasped

"Navya just shut up okay" said Cabir. Navya looked at him with her flaring dose and gritting teeth 

"Obviously, Nandini aa gayi hai to hamari baat kyu hi sunega koi" said Navya and ran up her rooms leaving the food on the table.

"Cabir, we have never said this before but things are better if they are looked after in time. Navya is behaving very badly these days and its better if you put some senses into her said Raj. He had never ever interfered in matters concerning the house nor had he said a word against any of his family members till date but today, he had to.

Cabir nodded at him and went up giving an apologetic face to Nandini who just nodded at him.

"Um Manik can you drop me to the hospital?" asked Nandini to lighten the situation

"Nandini, I have a meeting in Bandra. You take my car and the driver will drop you. I will go with Dad" said Manik. Nandini nodded at him. Her car was in for servicing and she had to go to the hospital today.

All of them retired for their respective works after the breakfast.

Meanwhile in Cabir and Navya's room

"Did we not talk about this before Navya? " said Cabir

"Yes we did and main chup bhi ho gayi thi na Cabir. Kuch bhi bola kya maine? agar mai Nandini ke matters me nahi bol rahi to vo Radhika aur mere matters me kyu bol rahi hai?" said Navya

"Come on Navya. Nandini has looked after Radhika from the times when she was born. She loves her and all of can see that. Even you know, she cares for her and she was not wrong. All of us are not happy with this decision of yours. Radhika is just 3 for gods sake. " said Cabir

"So what Cabir? Its not like I forced her to go she wanted to aur tum chup raho meri beti hai vo mujhe pata hi uske liye kya sahi hai kya nahi" Navya said it all in a rage and went inside the washroom not realizing how harsh her words were

"Tumhari beti,not mine?" said Cabir with tearful eyes as he wiped his tears and went .

Manik was working when his phone started ringing.

"Hey Muktii, wassupp?" said Manik closing his laptop.

"All of us are on call Manik" said Alya

"Oh Hi to all of you" said Manik

"Accha leave all this jaldi bolo kya hai mujhe kahi jana hai" said Cabir

"Chill Cabir, why are you in a hurry and why are you so low?" asked Alya

Manik knew the reason and so he bounced the question

"Okay leave all that, were is Dhruv?" asked Manik

"Dhruv is not picking up but I have told him already and I am telling you all too, Fab5 is partying tonight" said Mukti

"What?Suddenly?" asked Manik

"Manik its been so long we have met, aa na yaar" said Mukti persuading him

"Yeah its been long yaar okay I am in" said Alya

"Okay I am in" said Manik. It actually was a long time and he wanted to see his friends

"Fine I am in too" said Cabir seeing no way out.

"Very good, see you all . I will message you all the address" said Mukti as they hung up.

Manik was happy and so were the others. They all wanted to be together. Obviously, they were big now, married and all but then they wanted to atleast spend time whenever they could.

Nandini was down with two surgeries and was in her cabin studying a case. She decided to call Manik before going for further checkups and rounds

"Hi Manik" greeted Nandini

"Hii, what's up girl?" asked Manik 

"Kuch nahi, I have a surgery in 20 minutes and so thought of calling you before you go for your meeting"

"Good that you did. I wanted to tell that we as in Fab5 are partying so I would be going there from the office and sadly, you would see me in the morning now" said Manik all in one go

"That's great but why is it sad that I would see you tomorrow now?" asked Nandini

"What do you mean? I won't be there to hug you tonight, its not saddening for you?" asked Manik

"No Not at all, you know if in future aI go for parties with my friends, I would not expect you to be sad "

"Haha funny you do not have friends Ms. Nandini. Stop fooling around"

"Who said this to you? I have friends Manik"

"Oh really and I have no idea about them existing"

"Your problem , I have friends you know, Ajay, Rohan, and my bestfriend Raj"
Manik growled hearing her but he knew she was playing around

"Whatever, okay I need to go for my meeting and you go to your Raj"

"Yes that's the plan also I have my car here so you call your driver back"

"Okay bye,take care and all the best for your surgery, its going to be great I know"

"Thankyou Manik" said Nandini and hung up with a smile.

Shortly later, she went for her surgery.
