Showering love for an overworked adeptus wasn't an easy task, and never it would be. Patience was what required to face obstacles, reminding and understandment were what kept them sane, company was what kept them far from mess.

As the moon could be seen clear and bright by Mountain Tianheng, whereas the view of the city was as clear as a cyrstal, the e/c irises bathed deep by the luminousity of the satelite一the way her eyes glistened from one place to another, the view of the city and the open sea reflected clearly. Her legs freely rocked back and forth as she sat by the edge of the cliff, letting the breeze of night brushed against her face.

Time ticked, moon finally arrived and stayed by the top. The h/c haired maiden still waited patiently, qingxin flowers still on her hands and were waiting to be given to the specific blue haired secretary. Only for it to wither the longer she held. The disheartened weight weighing her heart brought the enthusiastic smile down, thoughts lingering in her mind, 'Is she busy again?'

Speak of the devil, the blue haired lady Y/n'd been waiting, clanked her shoe heels to the stone of Mountain Tianheng, walking close to Y/n. "Sorry, I'm late!"

The finally awaited adeptus Y/n had long waited for, arrived. The voice she had yearned for finally rang to her ears, frantic yet soft-spoken as if the next wrong word might get the owner into trouble however it always soothed the angst within Y/n. "It's okay, I haven't waited for too long."

"...Ah, but the flowers..."

Y/n turned her gaze down tot he withered flowers, its colour that once was graced by white, stained with the hue of darker colour as it signed its no longer alive in the hands of Y/n. "Oh, it's okay. I can just go get another one next time. I thought you might get hungry so I decided to bring some. Sorry it withered," Y/n spoke, patience yet a worriness hinted her voice.

The blue haired adeptus sat beside Y/n, the presence of her coming brought the serene, the way Ganyu's hand hovering her hand as if hesitating to touch. "Well, uhm... it's okay, it's not your fault. I came late."

"No, it's fine一what matters right now is that you're here with me," Y/n quickly deflected. The iridescent e/c irises turned to gaze at the amethyst eyes, breath captivated away just by a single glance一perhaps this was the luxury of dating someone whose power exceed normal human.

"I got caught up with my work, I'm sorry. Ever since Liyue decided to stand on their own, the Qixing gets busier and busier." Ganyu knew there was no need to reason with Y/n, as she knew the patience the maiden had for her even if she ever did something wrong. "Maybe take a break once in a while, a break also what makes you work more efficient, yes?"

"I'm not sure about that, documents keep stacking up on my desk and I have to write more than just that." Just by the glance alone, Y/n could see the colour of the skin clear yet eyes tainted with the hue of dark blue, the lips Y/n once saw where the colour of cherry stuck out slowly grew chapped. Nothing can ever escape from the e/c eyes, and Ganyu knew of it.

Yet, maybe just a small adaption to the new work life might relief the exhaustion clearly circling her eyes, stoic yet still kind.
"...alright, but tell yourself to take a break even if it's just five minutes or an hour. I appreciate the fact you're still working hard to keep Liyue peaceful from chaos, but I think you deserve a rest."

Silence was all left to be said, where two understood without having to say a word as silence was what kept the surrounding serene yet calming. Y/n's fingers brushed against hers, slowly sliding her fingers between and intertwined them together, none desired to let go as both wished for the time to slow down before dawn arrived.
