The loss of someone was like the withering flower, a beautiful bloomed flower that slowly, its petal fell on top a table. Or like the colour of a pink, blue, red, or a rainbow that converted to nothing but a pitch of black and white.

The lost that felt so huge, highly impacted on a heart and the colour of black and white一anykinds of description could fit in anything. But  the lost of a beloved person could never be replaced by anything.

The rain poured cats and dogs, as the rain accompanied the grief of, Owner of Dawn Winery, Crepus' death, the passing was what people called, "early". And in fact, it was early and sudden, no one had expected for an early death.

The Dawn Winery couldn't be any more lively after a pass of its master.

"Miss/Mister L/n," a voice called to the h/c haired person that stood outside the garden of Dawn Winery. The owner of the voice, Adelinde, walked through the gardens of grapes.

Y/n watched from afar, taking a brief moment to observe how... sorrowful it was. Hearing how their friend, Diluc, quit the Favonius and the lost of his father. Out of concern, they came by everyday, but never entered or let Diluc knew bout their visit.

"How's the current master doing?" Y/n asked the head maid, with their gentle smile that waited for a reply patiently. "It's been the same as yesterday. He has been pushing himself to work," Adelinde replied, with eyes reflected the usual concern. He must had been pushing himself to work...

"I see... don't tell him I came to visit. Just make sure to take good care of him." Y/n couldn't pay a visit一not now... Especially after his statement of his hatred towards the knights. "Are you not coming in, Miss/Mister L/n?"

They shook their head, smiling slightly. "No, it's fine. I should head back. Tell me if anything happens, okay?"

"Understood, Miss/Mister L/n," Adelinde reassured. She bowed down in gratitude as she watched Y/n set off from the estate.

Again, Y/n didn't know how many times they had been visiting without Diluc's knowledge一but it's the best for now.

The next day...

They did the same, again and again一greeted by the same head maid. The rain died down after the cats and dogs, but the sorrow stood still in the Dawn Winery.

Y/n stood by the garden, watching as they nurtured perfectly一despite the plants' master was in grief. "Miss/Mister L/n," Adelinde greeted.

"Good afternoon, Miss Adelinde," Y/n greeted back. Adelinde looked a bit tidier than before. But her weight seemed to be dropping than before. "Miss Adelinde, are you okay?"

"I'm well, Miss/Mister Y/n. Would you like to come inside for some tea?"

"No, thank you. I just wanted to hear about the current master's condition. However, you and the staffs should get some rest too."

Adelinde shook it off with her polite yet, meaningful smile. "He's still the same as before and we've been doing well, thank you for your kind concern. Ever since the previous master passed, it hasn't been lively. But we're working on it."

Y/n heaved a small sigh, smiling to replace the devastated frown. "Alright, please take good care of him. Again, please don't tell him about my visit."

Adelinde nodded her head and bowed down in gratitude as she watched the person left, once again.
