Times flew so fast, no one knew it had been years since a friendship nurtured with strong bond and surprising feelings behind the locked heart.

5 years old, the first time Y/n's honey e/c eyes landed on a certain platinum blonde hair, standing in front of the class with Y/n's teacher. His eyes were like the night sky in Dragonspine, his blonde hair reminded them the silk in some high quality clothings. Yet, something was off about him...

Ever since his appearance, not a smile flashed on his gentle and expressionless face, however, it sent stomachs to their butterflies and the desires to know and get close to him eventually... grew in their heart. The conflicting and peculiar feelings slowly devoured Y/n's chest, and maybe this was the first time they poured feelings for him.

"My name is Albedo Kreideprinz. Hello."

His gentle and soft voice somehow, felt like the dandelion seeds that were blown carelessly but refreshing past Y/n, maybe that description suited of how they saw him. "Hi, Albedo. Thanks for introducing yourself, let's get you a seat. Hmm.."

None paid attention to the new student other than Y/n as the rests were busy with their own chit chats and their own world. "How about you sit next to Y/n? Y/n, can you pelase raise your hand for Albedo?" The teacher called gently which Y/n raised their arm midair in elation. "I'm Y/n!"

And that's probably the first time their friendship started. Though, he considered them as a talkative person.

As the two friends reached their teenage years, a lot of conflicts started to challenge to strain both of their friendship. Also, Y/n's conflicted feelings grew and nurtured along their friendship years.

As friends, it's normal for each other to fight and went through obstacles as a way to learn how to understand each other. For example the time Y/n ran away from home and sprinted to Albedo's home一only for Y/n to run away again after a huge fight.

At middle school, the time where their secondary year had come to an end, a party was thrown to celebrate their graduation. Y/n's hand was on Albedo's while Albedo's other hand was on their waist as they danced through the night together.

Albedo's feelings grew and grew more with the confusing and peculiar feelings, as if it's attracting and lured him in to their honeycomb e/c eyes. That's probably when he started to realise the weird feelings lingered in his chest.

"Brain... tumour?"

Their voice shook, left a hint of vibration in their tone, the taste of afraid lingered in their lips and chest which they couldn't shake it off. "Yes, from the MRI scan, you can see the white circle mark in your brain. This seems too serious..." the doctor muttered the last part as Y/n's eyes were glued to the MRI scan.

"We'll schedule you biopsy tomorrow and get you treated right away一"

"Ah, tomorrow? I'm sorry but I can't do it tomorrow. A friend of mine has just come back from Springvale after the Olimpiade Education today. And we're planning to hang out tomorrow. We haven't talked to each other in a while and we can't cancel it. But how long will I have left?"

The doctor exhaled the air, trying his best to sound comforting as possible. "If you don't get treated right away, you'll only have, approximately, three months."
