Chapter 71

Athena POV

"Hoy, sigurado ka ba ayos ka na?" Mia asked.

"Oo naman no, strong kaya ako" I proudly said.

"Sus, strong ka dyan, wag ka muna magpakapagod, mabuti pala pinayagan ka ni Congressman pumasok ngayon?" Jess asked.

"Sus, he doesn't want me to, pero pinilit ko sya, wala rin naman akong gagawin sa bahay" I said.

We're eating lunch at the canteen when suddenly Matthew texted me.

To: AJ Marcos
Fr: Mat-mat

Hi AJ, I want to invite the three of you to have dinner this Friday, same restaurant, hope to see you there!

Hmm? Ano kayang meron? Sandro didn't mention anything.

After lunch, i enter my class. It's a good thing i discuss our whole lesson last week, halos review nalang kami.

When my class ended, I already come home early to cook for dinner.

"Hi, ma" Anton greets as he took my hand.

"Bless you, nak" I greeted. He go to his room and leave me at the kitchen.

The food was about to cook when i heard my husband's voice.

"Si ate Athena mo?" I heard him asked Mela.

"Nasa kitchen sir, nagluluto po" Mela replied.

After a few moments I saw him enter the kitchen with his signature smile.

"Hi, mahal" He greets as he kiss me on the cheek.

"How's work?" I ask.

"The usual, anyway I'll just change my clothes and call Anton para makapaghain na" He said as he excuse himself.

We happily eat dinner while Anton said some things about his school, so as Sandro and I with our work.

At bedtime, I took a shower first then lie down while waiting for Sandro who's in the shower. After he's done, he lay down beside me.

"uhm Mahal?" I ask.

"Hmmm" He hum while resting his eyes.

"Did Matthew already told you about the dinner thing on Friday?" I curiously asked.

He open his eyes and stare at me. "He mentioned it, pero di ko alam"

"Hmm.. Weh?" I asked again. I'm pretty sure alam naman nya. "Ayaw mo lang sabihin eh" I said.

"Bakit? Ano bang meron?" He asked me.

"Kaya nga po tinatanong ko di ba? Sige na sabihin mo naaa" I please.

He shook his head. "Ayoko nga, tsismosa ka eh"

I come to think of it, so may surprise ganon? Until i realized something.

"Oh my- buntis si Jaime?!" I exclaim.

He looks at me in disbelief. "Of course not, ano ka ba, praning ka talaga" He laughed.

"Eh ano ngaaa?" I impatiently asked.

He took a heavy sigh and face me. "Mahal, you'll know it on Friday, let's go to sleep, I love you" He said as he kiss me.

Ano kaya yun?

Friday night.

"Ma, are you still not done?" Anton asked impatiently as I'm doing my make up.

"Wait lang, malapit na to, tell your dad to start the car already" I said.

"Fine" He sigh. After doing my makeup i went downstairs and meet them at the car.
