Chapter 23

Athena POV

On my way home. Tita liza sent me a message.

To Aj
Fr Tita Liza

Iha, birthday ko this Friday, you and Anton will come. We'll eat at the same restaurant we always visit. See you!

I don't have a choice but to come, kahit na ayaw ko kasi I'm pretty sure andun si Andrea. Ayoko lang na magtampo sa akin si Tita, all this time naman supportive at mabait sya sa akin.

Friday Afternoon....

Anton and I prepare ourselves. Kinausap ko si Kuya na sya nalang maghatid sa amin. I wear a white long sleeve and trousers.

When he arrived we already went our way. We arrive at the restaurant on time. I saw Simon talking with their close friends. I found a seat near them at pinaupo muna si Anton.

After awhile dumating na rin ang mga families ng both sides. Anton ran around with his cousins.

We wait for a few minutes at dumating na sila Tita Liza. We all greet her, we're about to start when Sandro and Andrea enter the place.

She immediately ran to Tita Liza at bineso sya habang binigay ang dala nyang cake. Sandro hug Anton as soon as he saw him. His eyes met mine as he gave me a half smile, i did the same.

Suddenly, Cara went towards me at niyakap ako. Cara is Mike's wife, pinsan ni Sandro. It's a good thing andun sya madalas kasi pinag uusapan namin ang parenthood namin at nagcchikahan na rin.

We pray before celebrating then  after we all eat for dinner. I can see Andrea looking at me time to time but i don't mind her.

Anton and I gave our gift to the celebrant. Then at 8:30pm some of the visitors already said their goodbye.

We're about to say we'll already go home.

"Tita, sir baka uwi na rin po kami" I said to them.

"Iha, sa bahay na kayo matulog, sa guest room" Tita liza said.

"Hala tita wag na po nakakahiya" I said.

"Para naman di ka tumira sa bahay dati iha" Sir Bong said with a smile.

"Oo nga, tska tomorrow's Saturday naman, sige naa, bday ko pa ngayon oh" Tita said trying to convince me.

"Please ma, let's sleep to mama Lola and Papa Lolo's house nalang" Anton please as he gently pull my arm.

Well, i don't have a choice then, I already agree pagtulungan ba naman ako.

"Okay fine"

"Yey! Thank you mama!" Anton cheerfully said as he hug me.

We got home after, sumabay na kami kila ma'am Liza, i also texted mama na dito kami matutulog, mabuti nalang doon nag stay si Kuya Ton.

I went to the guest room but i remember wala nga pala akong pantulog na damit. I look and find some clothes on the cabinet if ever meron.

As i open it, i found a shirt color Red and blue, it's not cotton though at may Marcos print nakalagay, pwede na siguro to. I look at the small cabinet and found a new or emergency stock underwear, Ma'am liza told me before na pang bisita talaga yun. there's also a pajama at parang di pa gamit.

I took a shower first habang nakikipaglaro si Anton kay simon sa baba. Sandro's not home yet, hinatid nya kasi si Andrea.

When i was finished, i went downstairs to ask Anton to go to sleep already at nakapag hugas naman na sya. He has stock of clothes sa bahay nila sandro, mabuti nalang.
