Chapter 22

Sandro POV

Today's Monday. It's a good thing i did what Athena wants me to do which is to rest.

As i woke up, I look at the clock and saw that it's already 7am!?

What?! I'm late, I need to pick Anton before 7:30 then i have an important meeting. I immediately take a bath then after i went straight to the car. I didn't have the time to eat breakfast, bahala na kain nalang ako mamaya.

As soon as i beep the car Anton went his way and ride on the car. I'm already 10minutes late.

As soon as i arrived at my office, Matthew came to me. "You're late ano nangyare sayo?"

"I woke up late, it doesn't matter I'm here now" I said as i went my way to the meeting room.

It took the meeting, 3 hours then after i sign some papers about the government. Suddenly my phone rings.

To Sandro
Fr Dad

Nak, ikaw na sumundo kay Anton, i need Lando to drive for me. Thanks

Anton told me he only have half day class today. I stand up and went to my car, i feel hungry already but i need to pick Anton first.

As soon as i arrived at their school, i saw him playing. I called his name and he say goodbye to his playmates.

On our way home, he open his lunch box. "Halla, mama will get mad at me again" He said.

"Oh why?"

"I didn't eat my sandwich, do you want  dad?" He offered.

"Are you sure di mo kakainin?" I ask.

"Hindi na po"

"Thank you, gutom na gutom na si daddy eh" I said as i take a bite of the sandwich while driving.

"Bakit po? 'di kayo nag breakfast?" He ask.

"Hindi nak, andami kasi ginagawa ni Daddy sa work nya" I explain. Athena's really good at making sandwiches. The other time she made tuna sandwich, and now I'm eating egg sandwich which is really good too.

"Nak sa susunod you tell to your mom na 'pati po ung sumusundo saken bigyan nyo rin ng baon na meryenda'  para pati ako may snacks"  I joke.  He just smile at me as he plays with his little car toy.

I drop him off the house. Athena's still on work , it's her mom who's on their house to look for Anton.

Athena POV

After my class, i went home agad. Wala rin naman gagawin.

When i arrived at the house. Kuya Ton's family are there, he's married to a girl name dennise, they have two kids at madalas kalaro ni Anton.

I cook for something special for dinner which is Chicken curry, minsan lang kasi bumisita si Kuya kaya kahit papano maramdaman nya naman na masaya kami nandito family nya.

After dinner, they went home immediately. I take the chance para ayusin mga gamit ni Anton galing school.

"Did you eat your snacks?" I asked him.

"Hindi ko po nakain ung sandwich ma, nag birthday po ung isang classmate ko" He said.

"Oh edi saan mo dinala?"

"Dad ate it po" He said.

"Bat mo naman pinakain sa daddy mo?"

"He said po kase na he still didn't eat breakfast at gutom na gutom na daw po sya" He informs.
