Chapter 62

Athena POV

We all eat dinner after, then already went home. I can't believe it, I'm finally engaged with the person i admire for a very long time.

Sandro drives us home. When we arrived, Anton immediately went upstairs to play with his cousins, leaving me and Sandro alone.

"Thank you.. " I awkwardly said. I mean medyo naiilang pa din ako kasi hindi pa din ako makapaniwala na engage na kami.

He shyly scratch the back of his head. "You're welcome and congratulations"

"Congrats din, osige na para di ka gaanong gabihin sa daan" I said.

I'm about to walk to the gate. "Athena.. " He calls.

"Hmm." I respond as i look at him.

"Walang... " He move his lips asking for a kiss. My eyes widen in surprise and laugh at him.

"Wala, saka na pag kinasal na tayo" I said.

He sigh. "Okay, hug then, siguro naman pwede yun?" He smile. I rolled my eyes and walk towards him to wrap my arms around him. He did the same as he sweetly kiss me on the forehead.

"Hoy, tama na yan.. " Kuya Ton suddenly said ruining our moment. We both laugh as we gently pull away. I wave my hand goodbye as he ride on the car.

On our way upstairs, kuya hug me by the shoulders. "Alam mo ba ading nung sinabi ni Gov na liligawan ka nya, sabi nya liligawan ka nya hindi para maging girlfriend, kundi para maging asawa nya" He informs.

"Talaga?" I shockingly ask.

He nod. "Yup, that's why i made his last task hard kase ibang usapan na ang pag aasawa, then he proved it to us, that's why congratulations" He smiles. I smile back even though i was still shock about it.

Sandro POV

I enter my office to see Matthew sitting at my seat.

"Congratulations! " He announced. I immediately locked the door.

"Shh.. Keep it down, mamaya ako nanaman laman ng chismis ng mga marites dito" I whisper.

"Oh.. You still didn't announce it on public?" He asked.

"Not yet, I'll ask permission to Athena first" I said.

He nods. "Hmm okay, I'm not surprised na kayo nagkatuluyan, tagal nyo na rin magkakakilala, anyway I have to go" He said as he walk to exit the door when he stops. "Oh and by the way, pwde mo isama si AJ sa campaign para masanay" He laughed.

I smirk. "Okay, I'll ask her"

Athena POV

".. Nga pala, Kamusta yung family date nyo sa Bangui?" Jess curiosly asked.

I lift my hand and point the engagement ring. Mia and Jess gasp in surprise. "Oh my-"

I cover Mia's mouth who's about to scream. It's a good thing Jess cover her mouth quickly.

"Shh..baka may makarinig sa inyo" I whisper.

"Engaged ka na talaga!?" Jess asked in disbelief with a whisper voice. I nod and smile at them.

"Halla, ikakasal ka na" Mia said dramatically.

"Yes pero sa ngayon priority muna pagtakbo ni Sandro as Congressman then katapos dun na pag uusapan yung kasal, ayaw muna namin sabihin in public, kase baka maapektuhan sa politika" I explain.

"Hm.. Oo nga naman pero Congratulations! " They greeted.

We all went back to our classes after our break.
