A few months go by and it's the same thing each night, It's December 22nd. Our one year anniversary. The boys are 3 months. I woke up this morning to a charm that said 1.

I look over at them on the floor where they're trying to stand up but failing. We help them but they're still very young and then trying to walk is already an amazing accomplishment.

I look at J who smiles at me.

I lean on to him and Cass crawls over.

He lays on my chest and puts his ear on my heart. I smile and he looks up at me.

I smile and kiss his forehead and look into his grey eyes.

I can't wait until I know what colors they're going to have.

Probably brown.

I look at Gray who's in his daddy's lap.

My phone starts ringing.

"Hello?" I answer.

"Hey Raleigh!" Denise says.

"Hey." I smile "what's up?"

"Well I was wondering if I could get the boys for the night tonight to give them their presents." she says nervously.

I've been picky about it. "Yeah of course."

"I also know it's y'all's anniversary and I know you two need a break." She says.

I sigh in relief. "The lord knows."

she laughs. "I'll come pick them up in an hour?"

"Sounds amazing." I sigh. "Thank you."

"No! Thank you fro letting me keep them."

I smile.

"Love you four." she says.

"Love y'all too." I say.

She hangs up and I look at J.

"We get a night to ourselves." I smile.

A smile spreads across his lips.

"They're not getting siblings yet." I shake my head. "No."

He nods. "I wasn't even going there."

I nod.

We haven't even gotten to have sex since the boys were born because we're too occupied with work and the kids.

I need sleep and sex. And a drink. And a night with my fiance alone.

I pack the boys bags and soon there's a knock on the front door I open it expecting to see Denise but it's Kiara.

"Is Jimmy here?" She asks.

"Nope." I pop the p.

She glares at me. "I know you're lying."

"Kiara, why are you here?" I ask with a hand on my hip, trying to stay polite but my patience wearing thin.

"I was out on a jog and I thought I'd stop by, see the boys." She smiles. "They're fine."

I smile."thanks for checking in."

I shut the door while she stands there.

I lock it for good measure and walk into the living orom.

I clench my jaw and J looks confused.

"You ok?" He asks.

"It was Kiara again." I sigh.

He nods and Cass grabs his pinky.
