Venus felt her breathing shorten as she ran up the astronomy tower stairs. She reached the top and froze the lock to the trap door leading to the top. She broke it and opened the door, climbing out. She gazed out around the tower and looked towards the skyline by the lake surrounding the school.

"Happy birthday to me... Happy Birthday to me...Ha-ppy- Bi-rth-day t-to me..." She sang as tears fell down her face, freezing along her cheeks. Venus clutched her necklace and held it up to the sky, letting it reflect in the sun. The small deep blue jewel letting off a midnight light as the golden moon around it reflects light around the stone.

She stayed atop the tower for what felt like days but was actually hours. She watched the sun set over the school and past the faraway mountains. She climbed down the tower after watching the last of the rays peeking through the trees.

Venus walked through the halls, Crystal on her shoulder as she headed to the Great Hall. I can still have a piece of cake and hot cocoa by myself. She stepped through the doorway to sit down at a table and saw Draco sitting with Crabbe and Goyle. The blonde saw her, given away more by her blue owl. He stood up and walked over to her as she sat down again with a piece of cake and a mug of hot chocolate.

"Happy Isolated Birthday?" he offered her as she looked up at him, hair in her face,

"Y-Yeah, after earlier I just felt a little burned out. Thought it was best to leave."

"That's ok. Hey...I'm...sorry you had to see that. They and I don't really get along. But that's between us. Not you and your friends. We made a truce for when we have impartial parties around. "

"Thank you." She replied. She jingled her bracelet and tapped the table, Crystal hopping off her shoulder and onto the table, sticking her beak into the hot chocolate.

"Happy Birthday Ice Princess." Drace said, giving her a small parcel. "Sorry it was on short notice."

"Draco...thank you." Venus said, hugging the boy. She opened the gift and gasped. It was a book called "The Tales of the Beedle and the Bard."

"Thank you! I love it!" she said, hugging him again.

"VENUS!" a voice cried across the Hall.

"Willow!" the ravenette returned in the same voice.

She was tackled across the table, Draco stepping back for the leap the brunette made onto her friend.

"Where have you been?! I was so worried!"

"I'm ok." she reassured.

Hermione appeared behind her with a smile.

"Glad to see your ok."

"Thank you Hermione."

She felt a hand pull her up as Willow pushed her to stand up and Ethan appeared. He had a small deep blue cake. It had gold stars on it and a small moon on top.

Hermione waved her fingers and the group started singing.

"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday Dear Venus, Happy Birthday to you!"

Venus blew out the candles on the cake and her friends cheered, hugging the teared up girl.

"Happy Birthday Venus!" They cheered.
