Chapter 49- Spider Child

Once dinner is finished and cleaned everyone goes and sits around on the couches talking about random things.
"Hey Y/N, wanna go get some ice-cream with me. Mr Loki can come to if he wants!" Peter says like an over excited puppy.
"Sure! You coming Loki?" I ask.
"I guess. I have nothing better to do," He says.
I grab my phone and follow peter out the door.
Loki follows close behind me as we walk out of the building onto the street.
"So Y/N, how old are you?" Peter asks.
"1040," I reply.
"In earth years?" he asks.
"Uhmmmm-" I begin to say.
"Somewhere between fifteen and seventeen," Loki says.
"We're about the same age! So how old are you Mr Loki?" Peter asks.
"I'd be somewhere between eighteen and twenty-one," Loki replies.
"Woah! That's so cool!" Peter says.
He enthusiastically asks more questions and we ask him some before we arrive at the ice-cream shop.
I tell Peter that I'll pay for his ice-cream and he hugs me tightly.
I look over at Loki and he looked confused.
"What's wrong?" I ask him.
"I haven't ever had this before," he says.
Peter and I stare at him in shock.
"What I lived most of my life on Asgard!" He says.
"It's ok, I'll get you a couple testers and you can chose one that you want to have!" Peter says.
He asks for testers on vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mixed berry, bubble-gum ( just for fun) and coffee.
Loki begins trying the flavours peter gave him to try.
"I can't chose between bubble-gum and chocolate," Peter says.
"Get them both," I say. He smiles and hugs me again.
Loki tried them all and looks pleased at the taste of them all.
"Coffee and vanilla are both very nice," he says.
"Ok, both it is!" I say and go order.
I get Peter and Loki their ice-creams and order myself a double scoop as well with _____ and ______ (your fav ice-cream flavours).
I give them their ice-creams and we go and walk to the park across the road to eat them.
"This stuff isn't actually too bad!" Loki says.
"It's ice-cream, it one of the best food on Earth!" I say.
We talk as we finish before starting the walk back to the tower.
Once we get back we all go sit on the couch.
"We bring you a sugar filled child," I say.
Tony looks at me annoyed.
I sit and listen to conversation for a while. When I look over to Loki, he's playing online chess with Peter.
It's actually a pretty tight game.
I go back to listening to conversation and looking through my phone.
When I look back a Loki, Peter has fallen asleep on him. I sneak a picture.
"You two are very cute," I say to Loki.
He looks at me and smiles. A couple of people look over and see what's happening.
"What floor is the small spider child's room on?" Loki asks.
"Floor below yours, second door on the left," Tony says.
Loki picks up Peter gently and carries him off.
I didn't know Loki could be so gentle with someone so much younger than him.
