"Hey Cupcake."

"Oh ... Hi. Sorry i didn't hear u coming in."

"No probs." I said kissing her neck from behind.

She looked back at me and i sensed something was off.

"Is something wrong...?"

"I ... Don't know if i this is right ... I feel like I'm betraying them." She said looking at me with a saddened expression.

I raised her chin towards me and wrapped my other arm around her.

"Do you regret staying?" I asked looking her in the eyes.

She looked a bit surprised.

"No. I just wish things could be different between Piltover and the Undercity... If only they could see the beauties of this city too..." She said getting out of my embrace as a firefly landed on her finger. "Is war really our own option?"

I looked down for a moment before looking at Ekko's tree.

"Achlys has been avoiding war this whole time..."

"Maybe but she also provokes them by stealing their goods." She said looking down at the firefly.

" She has good intentions."

"She does... But she's reckless. I fear her selflessness may be a cause to her downfall."

I looked back at her to find her staring back at me.

"If you've taught me one thing, it's that you always need help. Working alone is foolish..."

I clenched my fist.

"What are you implying."

"Her ways may lead Zaun to succes ... But at what price?"

She's right...

Achlys always acts alone...

"Love can make us do strange things..." She added.

"Guess I'll have to be her parachute then." I said looking back up at Caitlyn confidently.

"What do you mean by that?"

She turned her body to face me.

"I won't let her fall. I'll be right behind her."

Her eyes Widened in surprise.

None of those acts were Reckless or unorganized... Each and everyone was calculated And organized around Jinx.

You brought the attention to you to protect Jinx ... No... It's more than that.

You sacrifice yourself for not only Jinx but the entirety of Zaun... To protect what you love.

I had lost my way ... But you have brought me back on the right tracks.

I took Caitlyn face with my hand.

"To protect what i love... You... Jinx... Zaun. I understand if you don't want to face your parents in an eventual war but... I won't let us go without a fight... Not a second time."

I stayed silent as i looked at her.

"Achlys is our only hope..."

A mob of panic arised in the city.

"PILTOVER IS ATTACKING!"

Viktor looked at me all of a sudden as i bolted out the door.

"ACHLYS DON'T!" He screamed but only one thing was on my mind.

Jinx.

"JINX!"

I turned around and finally spotted her running.

"JINX!" I tried calling out again.

My screams were drowned out by all the screams of terror. I forced my way through the crowd and onto the bridge.
