Chapter 55 - We need to talk

It's later that night and Maddison is at home, it's getting later and later and Taylor still isn't home. She has tried to call him but nothing
*Meanwhile with Taylor*
It's after shift and he can't bare to go home so he heads to a bar.
"Double shot of whiskey, keep em coming" He says as he sits down
"Coming right up sir" The bartender says
After a while Taylor is blackout drunk, he can't even sit up properly
"I think it's time you head home sir, is there anyone I can call?" The bartender asks
"Wife...Mine" Taylor laughs as he hands the bartender his phone
The bartender unlocks his phone
"I'm guessing it's "Hottie" you want me to call?" The bartender asks
"Yep" Taylor laughs
After 20 minutes Maddison is by his side
"Please don't be a bitch about this" Taylor says
"Get up" Maddison adds as Taylor stands up but falls
"Woah!" Maddison says as she catches him
Taylor bursts out laughing.
"Come on, let's get you in the car" Maddison adds as she guides him outside
"Look water!" Taylor says as he runs over
"Taylor! I swear to god if you fall in!" Maddison yelled as she ran over
"Come on! Let's dance!" Taylor says as he takes her hands
"Really?" Maddison asks
"Cmon it'll be like that night with the ring? Without the snow" Taylor explains
"Fine one dance then your going home to sober up" Maddison says as Taylor starts to dance with her
"You've not lost your touch" Maddison laughs
"I'm sorry, I was an idiot" Taylor adds
"So was I" Maddison adds
They then both sit down
"And suddenly your sober?" Maddison laughs
"Oh please I played that one up to get you here" Taylor adds
"I'm just not ready yet, that's all" Maddison explains
"Hey I get that, we've only been married a short time, maybe we just need to focus on ourselves for once" Taylor admits
"I'm not saying that I never want to have kids just not right now" Maddison explains
"I get it" Taylor says as he wraps his arm around her
"So we're good?" Maddison asks
"We're good" Taylor added
It's the next morning and they are back on shift
"Everything sorted?" Dawson asks as she closes her locker
"Yeah...Hey ignore what I said?" Maddison asks
"Ignore what?" Dawson laughs
"Thanks Gabby" Maddison replies
Dawson then smiled before walking out
