Chapter 50 - The Wedding of the century

It's now a week later and everyone is sobered up from the event weeks before. Maddison is in the dressing room along with her bridesmaids Chris and Gabby. The makeup artist is finishing up with Maddison's makeup when Luca walks in
"Hey" Maddison says as she smiles
"Hey you almost done?" Luca asks, nervously
"What's wrong?" Maddison asks, starting to worry
"Nothing, finish your makeup" Luca adds, with everyone's eyes now on him
"Cmon Luca" Maddison adds
"Mom and dad aren't coming" Luca says (See above)
"What? But it's my wedding day?!" Maddison yells starting to panic
"Hey, I'm sure it'll all work out" Chris adds
"Where's my phone?" Maddison asks getting up from her seat
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Dawson asks
"I showed up whenever they needed me! They can sure as hell show up on my wedding day!" Maddison yells
Mallory dials in her dads number and he picks up almost straight away
"It's my wedding day! But you can't get off your ass to come see me?!" Maddison yells
"Maddie honey, we're just too busy" Carl explains
"Like hell you are! Tell me the real reason!" Maddison yells
"You were supposed to marry a swat officer! To keep the family tradition alive!" Carl yells
"I am a god damn swat officer! And so is Dominic!" Maddison yells
"No! Because you chose being a stupid little paramedic over being a swat officer! That's why we're  not there! Were so disappointed in you that we can't even bare to look at you!" Carl screams
Maddison is taken back by her dads words and tears form in her eyes
"Fair point, but let me ask you this one thing. If Dominic ever got married, would you go to his wedding?" Maddison asked
"Is that even a question? Of course I would go!!" Carl says
"Copy that Carl" Maddison explained before ending the call
"Mads" Luca says
"Hey no! I get married in 30 minutes and he's not going to ruin that. I can't do that to Taylor" Maddison says as she cleans herself up
It's 30 minutes later and Maddison is about to walk down the aisle, Luca is walking her down
"Ready?" He asks, with his arm out
"As I'll ever be" Maddison adds before linking arms with him
Maddison and Luca step onto the aisle, Taylor's eyes drift to Maddison and tears start to form in them. He smiles at her when she reaches the end, Luca let's go of her arm and sits down.
"You look beautiful" Taylor mutters
"Your not too bad yourself" Maddison mutters
After a beautiful ceremony, Taylor and Maddison finally say
"I do" Taylor says smiling
"I do" Maddison adds
"You may kiss the bride" The man says as Taylor picks Maddison up and kisses her passionately
The guests start to cheer when they walk down the aisle, Maddison slips into something more comfy and they make their way to the after party. Everyone is laughing and having a good time when Dawson stands up and taps her glass, everyone turns to her
"Hi everyone, sorry to interrupt your night. But I thought I should say a few words" Dawson adds
"This'll be good" Taylor adds
"Shut up you!" Maddison mutters
"So I've been Madison's best friend for years now, when I joined 51 she welcomed me with open arms. I watched her go through many breakups.When she met Taylor she was in a very abusive relationship that no one knew about. Not even me, and that kills me everyday that I couldn't have done something to help her" Dawson explains as tears start to well up in her eyes
"I love you" Maddison mouths
"Maddison has been through a lot, more than anyone should have to go through. But I've never seen her happier. Going from crying in my arms after a bad breakup to sitting to her not being able to stop talking about Taylor is amazing. But I'm telling you right now Mr.Hudson if you break her heart, I will end you! To the happy couple!" Dawson adds as she raises her glass
"Cheers!" Everyone yells as they all drink their drinks
Maddison walks over to Dawson
"I don't deserve you" Maddison adds as she hugs her
"I think it's the other way around" Dawson smiles
After a long night, everyone has left
"I love you, you know that?" Maddison adds as she wraps her hands around Taylor's waist
"I love you more" Taylor adds before kissing her
