Dawson lead Maddison to the bunk room with Taylor following close behind.
"Dawson" He shouts
"Yep?" Dawson says as she holds Maddison up
"Let her sleep in my quarters" Taylor adds as Dawson nods
He opens the door and Dawson lays her down. Maddison falls asleep and Taylor covers her with a blanket
"Let's hope we don't get any calls" Dawson whispers before walking out
Taylor follows Dawson and shuts the door. He warns everyone to stay out of the bunk room so that Maddison can get some rest. He is sitting on the app floor when he gets a text
*The texts*
Cortez - How's it going cowboy?
Taylor - Not any closer
Cortez - Taylor! You've been there for 4 months! Don't tell me your falling in love with the job?
Taylor - of course not! I'll have something soon
*Present day*
*Taylors POV*
I didn't want to bust Boden. God I don't even think that he's involved. How can a chief make a firehouse a drug house?? The people here seem so genuine. But most of all I couldn't do that to Maddison. She's already catching on and I'm catching feelings. She can't fall in love with me. Not right now. She can't fall for the fake identity.
*Present day*
"You good Luitenent?" Cruz asks
"Yep! Great!" Taylor replies before getting up and walking back in
Dawson is making her way to Taylor's quarters and she finds Maddison sitting awake
"Hey mads" Dawson says as she sits in Kelly's chair
"So it took for me to faint for you to talk to me?" Maddison asks
"Don't do that" Dawson mutters
"What? Don't tell the truth!" Maddison shouts
"I'm sorry" Dawson admits
"You didn't back me up! When we're out on calls I'm the PIC! I take charge Dawson! If I wanted to put a girls life in danger do you really think I would do it?" Maddison yells
"I get that! But why would you put your career on the line to save someone? What about me! I need you as my partner mads! It's been me and you for the last 5 years!" Dawson shouts back
"And 7 years ago I signed a contract to always do my best to save people and that's exactly what I did" Maddison adds
"I'm sorry mads! I just couldn't loose you!" Dawson admits
"I know, I'm sorry to" Maddison adds as she walks over to Dawson and gives her a hug
"We knew you two would make up" Casey adds as Dawson and Maddison look up to see Taylor and Casey standing at the door
"You heard all of that?" Dawson asks as she stands up
"Yep!" Taylor adds
"Yeah well, I couldn't let my best friend go down that easy" Maddison says as she smiles at Dawson
