Chapter 51 - The honeymoon stage

It's a few days later
"So when do you leave?" Gabby asks
"Tonight" Maddison replies as she gets her suitcase out
"And you've not started packing yet?" Chris asks as she hands them both a beer
"You think I'm that organised?" Maddison asks as she starts to pick out clothes
"Well that's why we're here! So tell me all the details" Gabby asks
"We're literally going to the Maldives for 2 weeks, there's nothing more to say" Maddison explains
" okay...ooo! How about this dress?" Gabby asks as she picks up a beautiful black, slim dress
"Yes! You look hot in that" Chris adds
"Okay fine! But that's the only dress I'm taking!" Maddison says
An hour later they are done packing
"One dress?" Dawson asks looking at the pile of dresses in the suitcase
"I didn't know I had that much dresses" Maddison says as Taylor walks in followed by Casey
"Hey" Taylor says as he wraps his arm around Maddison
"Hi!" Maddison says as she kisses him
Casey then kisses Dawson
"Ugh, there's too much love in here" Chris says as she laughs
"I'm sure you'll find someone soon" Maddison adds as Chris smirks
"Wait a minute" Dawson says, catching on
"Spill!" Maddison adds as Casey looks at Taylor confused
"I may or may not have given it a go with street" Chris admits
"Oh my god! For how long?" Dawson asks
"The past 7 months now" Chris says as she smiles
"Your officially at the boyfriend, Girlfriend stage and you didn't tell me?!" Maddison asks
"We're keeping it on the down low because of work and Hondo. But things seem to be working out for me" Chris says as she smiles
"I'm so happy for you honey" Maddison says as she hugs her
It's later that night and Taylor and Maddison have just landed in the Maldives(See above)
"It's beautiful!" Maddison says as she lays down on the bed
"Your messing up the bed!" Taylor says as Maddison smiles
"Oh shut up" Maddison says as she laughs
It's a few days in and Taylor and Maddison have went strolls on the beach, had breakfast on the beach, went swimming with the dolphins(which Taylor wasn't a fan off) and have been having the best time ever.
They are getting ready for dinner when they hear screaming
"Help! Fire!!" A woman yells
"I can't feel my leg!" A man yells
"What the hell?" Maddison asks as they run out
Maddison and Taylor run out to see the hotel across the street on fire, with injured people lying on the ground and people screaming
"Why does this always happen to us?" Taylor asks
"Come on cowboy, let's go do our jobs" Maddison adds as they run over
"Okay sir? Where are you hurt?" Maddison asks as she starts to check him out
"My leg! I can't feel it!" The man yells as Maddison looks at his leg
"You've burst an artery, I need some thing to hold it" Maddison yells as she thinks
"Please save him!" A woman asks as she holds his hand
"I've got him" Maddison adds as she pulls a Bobby pin out of her hair
"So how did you guys end up in the Maldives" Maddison asks, trying to distract them from what she is about to do
"We're on our honeymoon" The woman adds as she smiles
"No way, so are we" Maddison says as she pins the pin onto his artery
"Where's your husband?" The man asks as he whines in pain
"He's over there, I'm a paramedic and he's a firefighter" Maddison explains
"It must have been a very cute love story" The woman adds
"It was" Maddison replies as the emergency services arrive
"Let's get you in" Maddison says smiling
