Chapter 26 - New Orleans Pt.1

"Who's driving!" Luca asks as he loads the last of the bags into the car
"Not me!" Maddison and Chris shout
"Not it!" Street and Luca shout
"Seriously!" Tan yells as he gets into the drivers seat
Street sits in front with tan. Luca, Maddison and Chris are in the back. This is the longest journey they have made as it's 6 hours. 3 hours in they get stuck in traffic
"Who has good road trip songs?" Street asks as Maddison grabs the aux
"Leave it to me! The Maddison Luca playlist is amazing!" Maddison says as she searches for a song
Maddison then puts on Mr. Bright side
"Yas!" Street yells as he turns up the volume
"Chest now! He takes off her dress now!" Tan sings
"And I just can't look it's killing me! And taking control!" Street yells
"Jealousy! Swimming through sick lullabies! Choking on your alibis!" Luca sings as he points to Maddison
"But it's just the price I pay! Destiny is calling me! Open up my eager eyes! Cuz I'm Mr. bright side!" Maddison sings
The team then turn to look at Chris. Maddison just smiles and street gives her a wing man wink. After seconds of convincing Chris gets involved at the perfect lyric you may say
"It started out with a kiss, how did it end up like this? It was only a kiss, it was only a kiss" Chris says as she looks at Maddison
Tan and Luca start to catch on. Maddison is still oblivious but is the type to flirt without knowing. Luca pulls Chris out of the car and is followed by street and tan.
"Guys?" Maddison asks but the doors are already closed
"You totally have a thing for my sister!" Luca yells as the guys crowd round Chris
"Yeah Chris it's kinda obvious" Tan adds
"I do not!" Chris argues
"Do too! Have you seen they way you look at her! Your in love with her!" Street says
"We're friends okay! And we have been for the last 5 months!" Chris adds
"Go for it Chris! She clearly has a thing for you too!" Luca says as he smiles
"She has a thing for Kelly! She lives with him!" Chris says as she runs a hand through her hair
"You don't know until you shoot your shot Chris" Street says before the notice the traffic moving and jump back into the car
"Get in! I'm driving!" Maddison says as she starts to drive
The rest of the ride is awkward and quiet until Maddison gets to an empty road. She starts to floor it as she knows how much Luca hates that
"Maddison!" Luca yells
"What it's just a bit of fun! Chris agrees with me right?" Maddison asks
"Uhh yeah. Sorry Luca" Chris says kind of distracted
"It will work out" Street mouths
