Chapter 52 - Back to normality

"Hey" Taylor says as he walks into the hospital
"Hey, how's everything back at the hotel?" Maddison asked as she gave him a hug
"It's alright, I kinda stepped back and let them do their own thing" Taylor explains as they sit down
"How was the guy you treated?" Taylor asks
"His name is Mark and he had a pretty bad laceration but I think I got it fixed up" Maddison explains
"I heard they were on their honeymoon too?" Taylor says
"Yeah, him and his wife Addison" Maddison explains
Addison then walks out and Maddison stands up
"Thank you again. He's doing great!" Addison announces
It's a few days later and Maddison and Taylor have just arrived back home. They get to their apartment and Taylor collapses on the couch
"I am never doing a 20 hour flight again" Taylor says as he rubs his temples
"Oh shut up! You enjoyed yourself" Maddison adds as she sits next to him
"Casey called, they're pretty serious about this whole Louie thing" Taylor explains
"They're going to make amazing parents" Maddison adds
It's a few days later and Maddison is back on shift along with the rest of 51. They are sitting in the common room and Casey is making breakfast
"Since when do you make breakfast?" Taylor laughs
"Since I've been in a good mood, don't spoil it Hudson" Casey adds
"Hey Luitenent, Dawson. There's some woman outside looking for you? Her name is Michelle?" Cruz adds as Dawson looks at Casey
"That's Louie's case worker" Dawson says as they all run out
When they run out they can see Michelle holding Louie in her arms, Dawson and Casey run over
"Congratulations Miss Dawson and Mr Casey" She adds before walking away
"Oh my god" Dawson says as she picks Louie up
"Ahh I'm so happy for you both!" Maddison yells
After an hour Louie is all settled
"Why don't we go get some ice cream bud?!" Maddison asks as she smiles
Louie looks at Casey who is standing next to her
"Why don't you go with auntie mads?" Casey suggests as Louie smiles
"Come on then! We have all different kinds of flavours because I was in charge of grocery shopping this week but don't tell chief" Maddison mutters as she takes his hand
"Hey buddy!" Taylor says as he hi-fives Louie on the way past
Taylor then joins Gabby and Casey who are watching Louie and Maddison
"She's ready" Dawson adds
"Huh?" Taylor asks
"She's ready to be a mom and your more than ready to be a dad" Dawson explains
"I have to back her up here, you guys would make amazing parents" Casey suggests
"Yeah we would" Taylor says looking at Louie and Maddison in the kitchen
