Chapter 19 - Im done!

Jared grabs Maddison and throws her on the floor. Maddison manages to trip him up causing him to fall. She grabs his gun and points it towards him
"He made me feel so small! I fell into such a deep depression that I had my funeral planned out! I had an outfit laid out one night! I was gonna do it! I was gonna end it all! I had pills ready! I was counting down the seconds! All of that because Paul couldn't keep his hands to himself!" Maddison yells as she puts her finger on the trigger
"What you gonna do about it princess?" Jared asks with a smirk on his face
"Why are you sticking up for him! He's a woman hitter! We all know it! You should have gone to prison along with him!" Maddison shouts
"Your not gonna do it! Pull the trigger!" Jared yells as Maddison adjusts her fingers
"Maddison!" Luca shouts
"Dominic?" Maddison says as she turns around
"Drop the gun for me sis?" Luca says as Madison's eyes flood with tears
Maddison drops the gun and falls to the ground in tears. Paramedics come running in followed by the intelligence unit. Everyone gets dealt with and Luca comes over and hold Maddison in his arms
"I'm done! Im so fucking tired!" Maddison sobs
"I know sis, I know. It'll get better" Luca says as he holds her close
Its an hour later and Luca has got Maddison up and sits her in the common room
"I still have a scar on my lower back from where he slashed me" Maddison adds staring at the floor
"You never told me that" Luca says worried
"I didn't tell anyone. Perks of being a paramedic I guess. He knew if he hit me I would fix myself up. Make no one aware!" Maddison says out of it
"I could see it on your face, it was rough. You should of told me" Luca adds
"I wanted to! I tried so hard! To tell you or Dawson or Casey! But he was always there! Listening to my conversations!" Maddison shouts with her hands shaking
"You don't need to explain yourself to me maddie!" Luca says as he grabs onto Madison's hand
"I could scream! I couldn't run! I couldn't cry! He told me that women don't cry! They take it! Because half of the time we deserve to be hit! Especially me! I don't deserve to be here anymore! I don't deserve you or Kelly or Dawson!" Maddison screams with tears running down her face and her hands shaking
"Maddie?" Luca says worried about her
"He drilled those words into me!" Maddison screams
"Maddie!" Luca says raising his voice a little
"Over and over again!" Madison screams with her hands over her ears
"Maddison!" Luca yells as he takes her hands
Maddison looks up at him with tears in her eyes and her hands shaking
"I'm here now, I'm not going anywhere" Luca adds softly
It's an hour later and Maddison has passed out in her quarters. Luca gets in his car and drives to the station that's holding Jared...
