Yeonjun had called Sorn directly and told her about the matter, which allowed her to pack Beomgyu's and his suitcases while the wealthy Choi had gone back to the cottage by motorcycle. Once there, Beomgyu had packed the rest directly, while Yeonjun was able to book a flight back to Seoul. Still, it took them half a day to get back. In that time, Yeonjun had been incredibly nervous, even though the fire had already been put out. It was the threat that worried him.

The one that made him nervous.

Hyunwoo had picked up the couple from the airport and took them to the hotel without a second thought.

Both of them were as upset as if an apocalypse was imminent, and Beomgyu could do nothing but coax his boyfriend along, holding his hand and giving him little kisses. He was just as tense and just hoped everything would be all right again.

How could this have happened?

Who had started this fire?

Who was this unknown caller and what did he want?

All this was buzzing in their heads.

When they arrived at the hotel, Yeonjun could see the full extent of the fire. At least half of the hotel was in ruins. "Why would someone do that?" he asked haltingly, already able to see his parents from a distance and how they were talking to the police.
