He's back

Scarlett's POV

I feel euphoric right now. Jade was so incredibly attentive and sweet and let's not forget hot. Not only was the sex itself great, but everything she did around that made it so much better. The way she asked for consent each time she would take off a piece of clothing and how she took care of me afterwards just shows me what an amazing person she is.

After we got out of the bathtub I had to get ready to pick up Rose. I didn't realise we took so long, but I guess time flies when you're having fun. I get dressed and grab my things. Jade was already in the kitchen by the time I was ready to leave.

"I'm going to pick up Rose from school and then probably go home. I'm sure she misses her own room." I let Jade know. She nods as she pulls me in for a sweet kiss.

"I understand. You're always welcome here if it gets a little lonely at home, or I can always come over. Just give me a call." She tells me. "I'll let you know." I say with a smile on my face. I wave one last time before making my way to my car to pick up Rose.

After I picked up Rose, we made our way home. "Are you excited to be back in your own room?" I ask her. "Yes! I get to play with all my own toys again." She exclaims. She seems to be having a good day, which automatically makes mine good too.

We pull up in our driveway and my heart stops beating for a second. I see Colin standing in front of my front door. "Stay here for just a second, okay sweetie?" I say to Rose. She nods and I get out of the car. I am basically seething with anger at this point and stomp towards Colin.

"I believe I made it very clear that I do not want to ever see you again." I spat. He gives me an apologetic look. "Scar, baby, I made a mistake. We are perfect for each other. If you leave Jade we can be so happy together."

Did he really just say that? I know this man is not trying to force me into a relationship. "I never knew what happiness meant when we were together. Jade showed me what happiness in a relationship really means. So kindly, fuck off."

His expression changes at the mention of Jade's name. He really hates her. "She can never make you as happy as I did. She's a woman for god's sake." He says through clenched teeth. Oh, so he's homophobic on top of all this. Noted.

"Not only did you not make me happy in the relationship, you're homophobic to add onto that. Give it up, Colin, we're done and I'm never taking you back. Now please leave before I call the cops." I say, to which he scoffs and walks away from my house, but not before saying: "You'll regret this."

I sigh, shake my head and walk back to the car to go get Rose. As I open the door she notices my expression. "Was that Colin?" She asked. I just nodded. "What did he want?" she asked curiously and with a slight hint of worry. "He wanted to come back to us, but I told him he needed to leave us alone." She nodded in response as she took my hand so we could walk back to the house.

We walk into the house and I decide to give Jade a quick call. It keeps ringing and ultimately goes to voicemail. I decide to leave a message. "Hey Jade, Colin just showed up at my house and told me he wanted to get back together. I basically told him to leave or I'd call the cops, but I'm pretty upset right now. Do you mind coming over? Let me know. Okay, bye."

Strange, normally she'd just pick up the phone or text me immediately afterwards that she's busy. I decide to go on with my day and just wait for her to respond.

Bit of a shorter chapter, because I've been pretty busy lately and probably will be for a while (with work, holidays and college). But I'll keep updating at least a few times a week if possible!
