Maudie POV
It was a brownout.
The whole audience started panicking and running around.
It was too dark, i couldn't see anything.
"Ezra? Ava? Kyle?" I asked as i tried searching for their bodies with my hands.
However, I didn't get any response
"EVERYONE STAY CALM ITS JUST A SMALL BROWN OUT." Hallen said, trying to calm everyone down.
No one listened and still continued to panic.
Then i realized something.
My phone!
It has a flashlight feature.
I grabbed my phone from my pocket and turn the flashlight on.
I whistled for everyone's attention.
I pointed the flashlight to the audience.
Everyone froze in their tracks and looked at the only source of light.
Which was my phone.
"USE YOUR PHONE'S FLASHLIGHT!" I yelled.
Everyone pulled out their phones and turned their flashlights on.
Soon the room got more light.
Everyone sighed in relief.
I tried looking for Ezra, Ava and Kyle.
They weren't on stage.
They weren't with our audience.
They weren't anywhere.
They could literally be anywhere in this building.
Hallen and Harriet ran up to me.
"Where are the others?" Harriet asked worriedly.
"I don't know, they've disappeared.." I said.
"I don't get it, We've never had a brownout before...." Hallen said.
"Focus Hallen, we need to find the rest of the InBESTigators." Harriet said.
"Right." Hallen said.
"Hallen, find a way to get the power back. Maudie and I will both split up and find the rest of the InBESTigators. Meet back here in 30 minutes." Harriet said.
We all nodded and went our separate ways.
I think i should search the offices first then the north hall.
Ava POV
It was suddenly dark.
It was too dark...
I panicked and ran away.
I had no idea where i was going.
I kept running and running until i finally stopped to catch my breath.
