Maudie POV

"Hallen productions? Just being there is impressive. What are you guys going to do there?" The Uber driver said.

"Oh, that's so nice of you to ask. We're going to be the guests in this week's Hallen show." Ava said.

"Oh wow, that's an honor. You know I've always wanted to be in the Hallen show but-" The Uber driver said.

While Ava and the Uber driver had a little chat.

I couldn't help but notice Ezra's expression.

He looked really nervous.

"Ezra, are you still nervous?" I whispered.

Ezra looked at me and nodded.

I squeezed his hand and gave him a reassuring smile.

He smiled back.

He still looked really nervous.

I'm a bit worried for him.

Being a little nervous is fine.

It means something is really important to you.

But being too nervous is bad.

Because it can affect your performance.

"Need another one of my sessions?" I asked softly

"Its too late for that now." Ezra whispered.

Kyle was next to Ezra and he was basically half asleep.

I laid my head on Ezra's shoulder.

"You used to be a farmer? That's so cool!" Ava said.

Ava's really chatty with the Uber driver.

"Where here." The Uber driver said.

Ezra paid the Uber driver and we got out of the car.

"Bye Frank!" Ava said.

"Bye Ava." The Uber driver (apparently named Frank) replied.

Frank drove away.

"You made friends with the Uber driver?" Ezra asked.

"He seemed nice." Ava said.

"Didn't our parents tell us not to talk to strangers?" Ezra asked.

"If we don't talk to strangers, how are we supposed to make friends?" Ava said.

Ezra's mind lagged for a bit.

"That actually makes sense." Ezra said.

"We should get going." I said as i grabbed Ezra's hand

The four of us started walking to the entrance of the building.

We then saw the same bodyguard that stopped us the first time we were here.

"Ah, The InBESTigators. Welcome back." The bodyguard said with a big smile on his face.

"Why is he acting friendly?" I hear Kyle whisper to Ava.

"He's probably ashamed for being rude to us the other day." Ava said.

"The girls right. I'm sorry." The bodyguard said.

"Its fine. I'm just glad you apologized." Ava smiled.

"But your only doing it because Harriet reprimanded you right?" I said as i crossed my arms.

The bodyguard nodded shamefully.

I can tell he meant the apology though

"Knew it. Well, apology accepted." I smiled.

The bodyguard gave a soft smile to us and opened the door.

"Get in and nail today's show." The bodyguard said.

"Thank you!" Ava said as we walked in.

We started walking to the front desk.

"Wow, the bodyguard has changed." Kyle said.

"Open your eyes Kyle, he's only nice to us because he got reprimanded by Harriet." Ezra said.

"Ezra that is so rude. But kinda true..." Ava said.

"No, he genuinely meant it." I said.

"How can you tell?" Ezra asked.

"I just know." I said.

We reached the front desk.

Surprisingly, we saw Harriet there.

"Oh, you guys are here!" Harriet said with a big smile.

Harriet stood up from her chair.

"Lets go shall we?" Harriet said.

"You didn't tell us you work at the front desk." I said.

"I don't. Gloria is in the washroom." Harriet said.

"Oh okay then." I said.

"Lets go, Its going to be very crowded later." Harriet said.

The four of us nodded and followed her.

Soon we got to the set of the Hallen show.
