(Okay time skip to when they are at the smoothie place and Harriet told the whole InBESTigators about her problem already and now their just having fun)

Maudie POV

"1, 2, 3, GO!" Ava counted down

Kyle, Ezra and Harriet started slurping their smoothies as fast as they could.

"This is such a dumb competition." I said crossing my arms

"Shhh, Maudie. Let them be, i can smell a brain freeze coming." Ava said.

And Ava was right, soon Ezra stopped drinking and clutched his head tightly.

"Brain freeze." Ezra muttered.

"Called it." Ava said as she gave me a high-five

Harriet and Kyle were still going.

Harriet is surprisingly good at this.

But not as good as Kyle.

Soon Harriet stopped and laid her head on the table.

"Ouch, my brain.." Harriet said.

"Kyle wins!" Ezra and Ava announced.

"YES" Kyle said as he did a little victory dance.

While doing so, he knocked my smoothie down.

Luckily there was almost nothing in it.

"Kyle!" I said.

"Im sorry Maudie." Kyle said as he placed my cup upright

Luckily it didn't spill on my clothes

"Great now i need to clean the table up." I said as i stood up.

"Im going to get some napkins." I said as i walked away.

I walked over to the counter to grab some napkins but i tripped on something.

I fell on the floor with a big thud.

"Owww..." I muttered.

My vision went blurry and i was feeling a bit dizzy.

Before i can stand up, someone lifted me up.

"A-are you okay?" Ezra asked.

I think that's what he asked...

But i wasn't sure.

"What...." I asked.

"Maudie! Hello! Are you okay!?" Ezra said.

"I-im fine." I said as my vision cleared up.

I could finally see clearly again.

I then looked around.

I see Ezra.

Carrying me Bridal style.

He was looking at me weirdly

"Uh, Can you bring me down" I asked.

"Uhhh yeah." Ezra said as he slowly let me go.

When my feet touched the floor i felt a sharp pain of my left foot.

"Owwww my left foot hurts... I think i have sprained it." I said.

"Here let me help you to the table." Ezra said as he placed his arm on my shoulder.
