Chapter Nine

"Come on, Sebrina! I'll race you to the school!" Little Savannah shouted out with a cute smile. Little Sebrina popped out from behind a rock with a daring look on her face.
"*Gasp* Oh, IT'S ON!" She then zoomed past Savannah as she started swimming after her.
"HEY! Cheater!" She shouted as Sebrina could hear her voice disappear by how fast she was going.
"Ha! Slowpoke--GAH!!" Swimming too fast, Sebrina suddenly crashed headfirst into someone and groaned slightly as she held her head. The fish she bumped into did the same as they looked at each other. The male clownfish she hit suddenly realized what happened and started apologizing.
"OH! I-I'm so sorry! A-are you okay, miss?" He asked innocently. He was definitely a little older than her but he looked and sounded as innocent as a puppy.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine. I wasn't looking where I was going. Sorry about that." Sebrina sheepishly smiled and the male clownfish smiled back.
"It's fine. I should've watched where I was going too. What's your name?" He asked with a small smile. Sebrina held out her fin.
"My name's Sebrina." She told him as he shook her fin in a greeting-like manner.
"Oh? I really like that name." He complimented delightfully.

"I'm Marlin."

Before anything else happened, Savannah came rushing over, trying to catch her breath.
"You *pant* *pant* cheater..." She grumbled playfully before looking at little Marlin. There was a small moment of silence before Savannah smirked at Sebrina.
"Am I *ahem* interrupting something?..." She asked her with a large devious smirk. Marlin smiled delightfully.
"Not at all." He told her happily as if he was the happiest fish in the sea. Sebrina tried keeping a smile as she nudged Savannah. Savannah tried not to laugh, for she was always and forever will be a jokester. Marlin then looked around and then looked back at the girls, a little upset that he had to leave his new friends.
"Well, I have to go now. It was really nice meeting you, girls." He then turned around to leave.
"See you two later!" He waved as Sebrina and Savannah waved him goodbye and turned around to go back home.
"Who's got the boy-faze now?" Savannah mumbled to Sebrina with another smirk.

Little did they know what would happen to them next. The upcoming barracuda attack would change both of their lives forever...

Savannah rapidly blinked as she saw Sebrina waving her fin in front of her face, trying to get her to snap back to reality after staring off into space for the past 3 minutes. Everything made sense now. Both Sebrina and Marlin must've lost their childhood memories as they grew up. She turned to Sebrina.
"S-sorry. I must've blacked out for a second, hehe." She told Sebrina with a small smile, trying to forget what just happened. Sebrina smiled.
"Okay, just wanted to be sure." She then swam up to the front as Savannah started thinking again. She turned back to Dilly and Evan in thought as they conversated with each other.
Sebrina swam up to the front as everyone started forming a plan to find Sebrina's parents, which they didn't have a single clue because they had no idea where to start.
Marlin suddenly got an idea and grinned as he looked over at Sebrina, who looked back at him with slight confusion.
"What?" She asked him. Marlin smirked playfully.

"You remember how we met?"

Sebrina rolled her eyes playfully and turned back forward.
"Yes, but I try my best not to." She said with a smile. Marlin grinned again.
"Well, I do. OH NO, MISS!!" He then startled Sebrina by trying to tickle her as she jumped suddenly.
"GAHH!! Marty!" She started laughing as Marlin continued chasing her around in circles. He continued playing around as he laughed as well.
"I'VE LOST THE BOAT! WOULD YOU MIND TRYING TO HELP ME?" He continued as Sebrina swam up to the surface. Nemo laughed as the others chuckled, watching this happen before them. Suddenly, they heard squawking noises as they looked up through the surface in interest and found that Hen had bashed his face into a hanging sign as he flew down towards them as if he were in a panicked hurry.
"GUYS!! GUYS!! We've got news! The van's leaving early for Africa! We've gotta move NOW!" He warned everyone as a van full of packed bags and suitcases started driving past them and into heavy traffic. The little boy in the backseat seemed upset as he looked into his empty fishbowl. Of course, neither Marlin nor Sebrina were paying any attention.

"HAHA! STOP IT!" Sebrina shouted playfully as Marlin kept chasing and tickling her while chuckling. Sebrina then swam up to the surface and Marlin followed shortly after.
"GOTCHA!" He shouted with a smile but didn't see Sebrina in front of him. Just the ocean view. he was confused for a moment before turning around only to find a large hound staring hungrily at Sebrina, just inches away from her face. They both stood still as Addie started laughing under her breath.
"Look who we have here. It's one of those bafoons who stood up against an orca whale." She snickered as the view goes to inside her mouth. We see Sebrina watching her sharp teeth worriedly as they glimmer in the light.
"'Oh, what brave heroes they are!' *Pfft* There are only two definitions for you, fish. Scaredy-cats and my dinner." Addie growled mischievously. Suddenly, too many things happened all at once so fast that Sebrina barely understood what happened. From what we can tell, Addie snapped her teeth, expecting to eat Sebrina but Marlin pushed Sebrina out of the way in time. Unfortunately at the same time, Hen swooped down with the green bucket and snatched up Savannah, Sammy, Dilly, and Evan. Hen thought Marlin was Sebrina and snatched him up with them, not knowing that Marlin had just tried saving Sebrina's life! Sebrina opened her eyes and found this out.
"MARTY/MARLIN/DAD!!" She and the others shouted. Hen swooped back down and in front of the little boy's van as he set down the bucket full of fish and looked at them.
"Alright, guys! Off to Africa! Yippee!!" He shouted delightfully. Marlin looked back at him worriedly.
"What's happening?!?" He asked frantically. Hen then realized his mistake as his eyes widened.
"Oh no..." They all muttered.
