"How are you? I got worried when you left," I said while holding her hand.

Naglalakad na kami ngayon paakyat ng hagdan. Kuya Declan is following us.

"Patawad, hindi ako nakapagpaalam. Masyadong mabilis ang pangyayari," she said and smiled apologetically.

"That's fine. I'm just really worried that something might happen to you."

"Wala ka nang dapat ipag-alala. Nakabalik na ako,"

"Huwag ka na mag-alala. Walang nangyari sa akin nang umalis ako," she assured me.

I stared at her and slowly nodded. Hinatid ko siya sa kanilang kwarto. Serenity tried to pull me inside, but I stopped myself from getting in because of Kuya Declan.

He's been finding Serenity for months and he deserved to be with her. Maybe I should call her Ate Serenity from now on since it looks like they're already in a relationship.

The days passed smoothly. Even when I'm busy with my classes, I never fail to notice how clingy my brother is towards Ate Serenity. Halos hindi ako makapaniwala kapag nakikita ang mga ganoong senaryo.

There's an upcoming event in the mansion. It's Mama's birthday. Habang hinihintay ang araw na iyon, si Ate Serenity ang nakakasama ko. Sometimes, she will help me with my assignments, but most of the time, we make bracelets on the sun loungers together.

It's therapeutic to listen to the waves every afternoon, especially now that she's with me.

Maaga akong umakyat ng kwarto para ayusin ang dress na gagamitin bukas. The event will take place tomorrow evening. Ang sabi ni Mama ay may pupunta naman daw ditong tutulong sa makeup at damit, pero dahil sa wala naman akong ginagawa, mabuti na ring ako na lang ang mag- aayos.

I took a shower first before I decided to fix the dress I'm going to wear for tomorrow. It's not exactly like the usual dress I always wear because it's not flowy, it is fitted.

Sa mga nakalipas na events na dinaluhan, hindi ko maiwasan ang pansinin ang mga damit na inihahanda sa akin ni Mama. They are usually fit and will totally hug my body.

Those clothes were not a big deal to me. But I just can't help but wonder why she's making me wear those kinds of clothes, with the truth that I'm still young and minor.

Sa huli ay pinili ko na lang kalimutan ang iniisip dahil maaaring nagkataon lang. I'm going to turn eighteen next year. Those kinds of clothes will never be a big deal to me and to anyone who can see me wearing it.

Nang matapos ang pag-aayos sa damit, ibinalik ko rin iyon sa walk-in closet. I jumped into my bed while holding my phone.

Hindi ko na maalala ang huling beses na binuksan ko ang social media account, especially facebook. I was so occupied for the past few months that I didn't bother to open my accounts.

I have a private account on instagram, but usually, I only use my account on facebook because I find it very convenient, especially it is connected on messenger.

I checked the messages I got and they were usually from my aunts. Not until I scrolled down.

Napabangon ako ng higa nang makita ang message ni Sage sa akin. Nasa pinakababa na iyon kaya siguradong matagal na ang mensaheng ipinadala niya.

I opened the convo immediately.

Sage:

I'm now in Manila. Forgive me if I wasn't able to talk to you before I left. It was urgent.
