"Did Ji say what's the matter yet?" Jeno asked as he stops Johnny's car at a red light near our house. My leg was bouncing with impatience from the lack of response from Jisung.

That's all it took for Jeno and i to rush out of Mark's house. I shake my head before quickly leaving Mark a text. I miss seeing him already but Jisung's more important.

Upon entering our home, we were met with Ash meowing at us as if asking us to follow it. We followed Ash to the kitchen and there Jisung was, stirring his drink. Seeing Jisung stirring his cup of coffee with his head droopy, i went straight to him and wrap my arms around him. He immediately hugged me back and began sobbing a little. I rubbed his back, calming him down.

"Hey Ji, tell us what's wrong when you're ready" Jeno says in a soft tone.

After awhile of calming him, we sat in his room, on his bed. I gave him a small nod to say that he could start.

"D-dylan he-" at the name, i perked up. "I-i don't know what he told Injun b-but whatever he said made Injun a-avoid me" Jisung looked down.

I unknowingly clenched my fist. Just what does he want disturbing my group of friends. Jisung saw my knuckles turning white and quickly unwrap my hand.

"I just want my Injunnie back" Jisung says in a soft whisper.

That night, Jisung slept in Jeno's arms on Jisung's bed. Ash had just gotten comfortable sandwiched in between them but when i sat up, it lifts its head, curious at my sudden wake. I stared at the black sky for a little before glancing at Jeno and Jisung. I then picked up my phone from the bedside table and stood up. As i walked to the balcony, Ash followed suit when i slide the door open a little to get out.

Taking a seat with my knees hugged to my chest on the small couch placed on Jisung's balcony, i dialed Mark's number while Ash gets comfortable in between my legs. After a few rings, Mark picked up.

"Princess?" he asked, voice a little cracked.

"I'm disturbing your sleep, aren't i?"

"Not really. I can't actually sleep right now. I have a little flu" as he said that, a lets out a small sneeze.

"You took your bike home?" a hum was then heard as a response.

"Did Renjun say anything?" i proceeded to ask while i run my fingers through Ash's fur, it letting out a soft pur at the touch.

"He didn't even leave his room. We tried to get him to eat dinner with us but there wasn't any response" i frowned. "How about Jisung. Is he alright?"

"Earlier he was a crying mess but he's fine now in Jeno's arms" i turn to look back at the two. "He said that Dylan must've spoken something with Renjun that makes Renjun avoid him"

"Just what does he want from us" Mark says with a low scowl.

I let out a tired sigh. "I wish i knew"

We conversed for a little more and when we realise it, dusk came. Ash was peacefully asleep as i stared at the orange-pink sky. I then let out a yawn.

"You should sleep. You'll get about three hours but at least it's something" i let out a small smile as he sneezed again.

"What for when i can at yours later"

"You're not attending school?"

"I am, but after school. Or maybe i can sneak out halfway. I just know that you can't be alone the whole day" he chuckled at my dramatic tone.

"You know that i can-" i cut him off.

"Huh what? Markie? What? I can't hear you. I think there's something wrong with your connection- oh" i paused as he laughed.

I'd be great if i could see that smile

"Mind repeating what you said Markie?" i feigned innocence.

"Forget it Nana" Mark gave in and i grinned. "Well then, i'll be waiting" i hum in response while smiling to myself.

After hanging up, Jisung's alarm began ringing. I walked back into the room with Ash in my arms and shake my head seeing them dead asleep even with an alarm so loud. I switch off Jisung's alarm and lightly shook Jeno.

He groaned and shifted a little. "Y'all going to be late or what?"

He lifts his head a little and frowned at me. "We'll wake up in a few" i hum in response while he goes back to wrapping his arms around Jisung. I then left to my room. There, i place Ash down in his small hut. I began getting ready for school.

"It felt like ages since we last tasted your cooking" i chuckled as they take their seats on the dining table. Once done with simple pancakes, i plate them on a white plate and garnish them with maple syrup. I then place the plates on the table.

"Thanks for the food Nana" Jisung said and i send him a smile.

"No problem Ji, and try talking to Renjun again if he comes to school"

Hello yall ! Sorry for the short chapter but i'm backk ☺️ how's everyone doing ? I hope these days are treating yall well despite the current situation . Thank you so much for 10k reads on this book !! 🥳 i appreciate all the support 🥰 My apologies for the long hiatus >.< the next chapter's probably going to be next month as i'm officially starting my national exams tomorrow . So for now , yall can still look forward to my other book , nomin, as i had already written the story down and just left to put it up . This is no goodbye so see yall next month ya <3 !
