Chapter 34

River/Raizel POV

Isang buwan ang lumipas at maayos din ang lahat. Wala pa si Dad sa bahay kaya hindi pa niya alam na nandito na si Yahzrel. Hindi na kami kasing sikat ng dati sa business at underground because of what happened years ago. Dad became miserable because mom died, she was shot that time and we didn't know. We just knew that she's shot nang makauwi na kaming lahat. She died in my father's arms crying while saying I love you's to us.

Bumagsak ang negosyo pati na din sa underground society. Umangat din naman ulit kami pero wala na kami sa top 10 and when I told Yahzrel about that nagsimula itong tulungan ako sa mga paperworks. She shared her ideas to us and we shared our ideas too. Tumutulong din ang mga pinsan namin upang bumalik kami sa dati.

I know that Yahzrel is aiming for something. We are all aiming for something. We're gonna hunt down the one who caused that incident.

Nakasandal lang ako sa upuan habang nagca calculate ng pwedwng maging aksyon ng kalaban namin sa business kapag naramdaman nilang umaangat na kami.

"Ate Raizel, please take me to the firing range" yahzrel said as she take off her eyeglasses. She glance at me with her cold gaze and I shivered as she walk at my direction.

This is the Yahzrel that I'm scared to see. It all changed now. How she looks and how she acts. My sister really changed.

Nanguna ako sa paglalakad habang siya ay nasa likuran ko lang. We arrived at the firing range and she didn't waste any second, she immediately proceed to hold one of the gun in the table.

Ikinasa niya ito at sunod sunod na ipinaputok sa target.

"Bring me more gun" she said. Tinanguan ko ang isa sa tauhan namin na agad niya namang ikinatalima. Inilagay niya ang iba't ibang baril sa long table sa harapan ni yahzrel at agad ring umalis.

Pinulot niya ang isang pistol at sinuri pa ito bago simulang ipaputok. Nasa gilid lang ako, pinagmamasdan kung paano siya magpapalit palit ng baril.

I'm glad that she's back but I did not expect her to be like this. I know that my little sister is hurting. She's not saying anything but I can feel it, I'm her Ate so I know.

I was frozen in place when I saw her state. She's firing but when I look into her eyes, sadness is all I see. Tears rolling down her cheeks while she's firing. Sunod sunod ang pagtulo nito na hindi niya pinansin dahil patuloy parin siya sa pagbaril.

I smiled sadly as I watched my little sister.

"Yahzrel..."

"Don't call me that, Ate! Starting today tatawagin mo na akong Vince!" Sigaw niya saakin at talagang binaril pa ang kahoy sa gilid ko. I panicked a little but I immediately calmed down. Damn it, pati ako natatakot sa sarili kong kapatid.

Umiwas siya ng tingin at pinagpatuloy ang ginagawa. Lumapit ako ng kaunti hanggang sa makita ko ng malinawan ang mukha niya.

Nanginginig ang mga kamay niya habang bumabaril kaya hindi lang rin ito tumatama sa target but despite of that, she still continued.

Nahulog ang baril sa kamay niya sabay pagyuko ng ulo niya. I saw how she grip the table tightly as she stop herself from crying.

She eventually fails at napayuko sa may table. Her head slamming down the table while crying silently. Unti unting lumakas ang iyak niya and my heart broke by watching her.

This is not what we planned. Hindi ito kasali. Hindi namin ito inaasahan. Hindi namin alam na mangyayari. I know something will happened but I never thought na sasaktan siya ni tarah. She's so inlove with her. I've seen how she looks at tarah. Kung paano siya ngumiti. Kung paano siya kiligin. Nakita ko kung paano maging masaya ang kapatid ko kay tarah. But I never thought that Tarah can do this.

The great daughter of Zelo and Diana Le Blanc is crumbling in front of me. One of the heiresses of the Le Blanc family is crumbling in front me. Defenseless and pitiful. My little sister is hurting in front of me.

Her sob filled the room. Kung kanina puro tunog ng pagbaril ngayon ay puno ito ng hikbi. After a month, ngayon ko lang siya nakitang umiyak. She's been strong but even the strong can be weak after a long time.

"I love her so much... But why? Am I n-not enough?"

"I gave her my heart. We've been together for almost two years... why? Just why!?"she said angrily and cried. Hindi ako makagalaw sa kinaroroonan ko habang pinapanood siya.

"Ate..."naiiyak na sabi ni Aeshenn at lumapit dito. Niyakap niya ito habang si Yahzrel naman ay patuloy ang pag iyak. I can't bear to watch my sister hurting. I don't know what to do. Lumapit ako sakanila at niyakap din siya.

All I can do is be with her.

"W-Why would she be like that? She said she loves me... pero bakit madali lang sakanyang s-sabihin yun?"

I glanced at Aeshenn when I felt her looking at me. We were silent, unable to say anything.

Napaluhod siya, hawak hawak ang kanyang ulo. She's still crying but this time she's laughing too.

"Atarah Czarina Auclair, I despise you"

That was the last time she crumbled and cried. That was the last time she let her walls down. That was also that last time that I've seen her weak because after that... she changed. She became the Le Blanc that everyone gets afraid of.

She became ruthless and cold.

PRESENT

"Aeshenn, let's go. Vince is waiting for us" tawag ko sa kapatid kong ayaw paawat sa pagbili ng mga damit. I dragged her to my car at ako na mismo ang nagsuot ng seatbelt sakanya. Nakanguso ito kaya pinitik ko siya sa noo.

Childish.

"Fine, kung ayaw mong sumama si Calista nalang tatawagin ko" ani ko. Kunware akong nag dial sa phone. Hinablot niya ito saakin at tinignan ako ng masama.

"Just drive Ate!" Parang galit pa nitong sabi. I just shook my head at her and drove my car to Vince's Hospital.

8 years have passed and she already has a hospital. She's a doctor there and she owns that hospital. 8 years have passed and I'm already 27. Vince is already 26 and this child beside me is already 23

"You're still so childish Aeshenn" naiiling kong sabi. Mas napanguso ito pero sinubuan pa din ako ng kinakain niyang chocolate. Kinain ko ito at napatango tango dahil sa sarap.

Dumating kami sa hospital dala dala ang binili kong foods sa isang restaurant kanina. Vince is always busy kaya minsan nakakalimutan niya ng kumain.

She achieved a lot of things and that made me proud. Nabawi na din namin ang pwesto namin sa business and Undeground society. We ranked number one with the help of everyone. We establish a lot of things at pinabagsak din namin ang mga nagtraydor saamin noon. Pinabagsak din namin ang mga hindi tumulong kay Dad dati nang kinidnap kami. Everyone feared us, especially Me and Vince.

Hindi na ako kumatok sa office ni Vince at agad ng pumasok. Aeshenn is clinging her hands to my arms but we were shocked nang may maabutan kaming hindi inaasahan sa loob.

Tinakpan ko ang mga mata ni Aeshenn na naka awang pa ang bibig dahil sa nakita.

Well, It was Tarah sitting on Vince's lap.
